Toddlers

Investigators (12 months to 24 months): Your toddler is meant to explore, take apart, put together, and question practically everything. Children in our Investigators classrooms learn through developmentally appropriate play in an environment where they can thrive. Toddlers in the Investigators Classroom will exercise their natural curiosity while being exposed to hands-on activities and be encouraged to interact with peers to start building social skills. To help lift ease the workload for families, we’re partnering with the Cuties Care program to provide diapers and wipes for babies and toddlers while they attend our school. For $10 a week, Cuties Care covers the cost of diapers and wipes. We know parents have a million things to manage—we’re happy to cross diapers off the list. Prices are subject to change.

Preschool

Ninety percent of a child’s brain is developed by age five! That’s why preschool—with critically important cognitive, physical, and socio-emotional stimulation—impacts a child’s development long-term. Preschool helps produce higher high school graduation rates, reduced instances of crime or teen pregnancy, and greater socialization and earning potential throughout their lives. Preschool-age children in the Explorers Classroom understand the idea of rules and they’re learning to play with their peers. Our Explorers Classroom curriculum help children delve into different topics through age-appropriate and engaging activities and helps build the foundation for Kindergarten readiness. Preschoolers in the Explorers Classroom will experience hands-on learning daily through a wide range of activities, develop fine motor skills that will help with writing, and practice gross motor skills outdoors to gain better control over larger muscles. Toddlers

The BeeCurious Curriculum supports active toddlers as they develop increased mobility and begin exploring the world around them. Children engage in hands-on learning centers - dramatic play, blocks, table toys, art, and a cozy area - with toys and props that change regularly to reflect current curriculum studies. Language development is central, with children immersed in daily communication and supported by American Sign Language using twenty core signs, plus additional signs tied to each theme of study. Music, movement, peer interactions, and group projects are woven throughout the day, with outdoor play twice daily extending curriculum experiences into well-equipped play spaces. Process-oriented art and sensory experiences encourage creativity and self-expression.

Preschool

The BeeCurious Curriculum blends guided discovery with child-led exploration, adapting to children’s interests and knowledge. Classrooms feature diverse learning centers, including dramatic play, STEM, art, literacy, and music. Children enjoy family-style meals, daily group time, and outdoor play twice a day. Hands-on experiences—like observing life cycles—bring learning to life. The BP Read with Me program supports early literacy in small groups, while American Sign Language enhances communication. The curriculum aligns with early learning standards, with parent-teacher conferences held three times yearly.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Preschool Pathways

Our Preschool Pathways program provides a “bridge” between our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms for children whose birthdays will miss the cutoff date for kindergarten entrance.

Older Toddlers

Our Cardinal program supports older toddlers and their increased independence, exploration of emotions and feelings, and fast-developing use of language. We also understand and support their continued desire to explore everything about their world. We believe our play-based philosophy and learning center structure gives them the best opportunity to do this. Activities such as ice painting or sorting objects by color will stimulate your child’s inquisitive mind. While in a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment, our program is designed to encourage individual creative expression through your child’s own strengths and interests and foster a passion for learning! Our Cardinals curriculum also includes our Global Gull American Sign Language Program. Toddlers

We believe that parents should determine when and how much preschool is right for their children. With our Traditional Preschool Program, you select the number of sessions you would like, which days of the week, and whether you would like mornings or afternoons. We have amazing preschool teachers that utilize the terrific Creative Curriculum®system. This method leverages children’s natural curiosity to explore and learn more about the world around them. Our sessions are a little longer than most preschools – 3 hours – to allow for more learning time. If you need care before or after preschool, you can transition into or out of our Flexible Childcare program to meet your needs.

Flexible Childcare

When you are a member of Sweet Kiddles, you can use our centers anytime you need them for as long or as short as you need. Simply make a reservation using our online member portal or our mobile app. We stay open a little later than most centers. *Minimum stays do apply.* We offer top-notch, educational care with a running curriculum and teaching methodology based on the amazing Creative Curriculum® system. Toddlers

The toddler program is designed to meet the developmental needs of children from ages 18 months to approximately 36 months. Each toddler classroom is especially designed to provide a beautiful, nurturing environment; the furniture is child-sized and the classroom materials are meticulously maintained and carefully chosen to meet the developmental needs of children at this age. The daily schedule is intentionally unobtrusive and provides plenty of opportunities for learning, cuddling, napping or socializing indoors and outdoors. The emphasis during the toddler years is on building self confidence and fostering the natural curiosity that toddlers possess. Songs, stories, simple materials, a gentle place and a deep respect for each child ensures that your toddler will truly love his or her school environment and from that, develop a deep long-lasting love for learning. *PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer weekend or overnight care.*

Preschool

In the pre-school program, children are consistently exposed to new ideas. Pre-school is a time of new boundaries and explorations, and our classrooms are set up to reflect that. Each classroom is sectioned into learning centers that the children are able to visit both independently and with teacher guidance. The entire day is based on balance: loud activities, then quiet; individual instruction, then group games; left-brained then right-brained activities. Our curriculum continues with review of the shapes, letters, numbers and colors. More handwriting practice is done working with writing independently in addition to tracing. Animals are now part of a larger science unit that include daily science lessons and more discovery experiences. *PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer weekend or overnight care.*
