Description
Ducklings: We recognize that your young toddler has the capacity to learn so much in the first few years of their life by simply having opportunities to explore and play amongst peers. Our teachers encourage learning through daily routines and experiences involving health and physical development, social-emotional development, language and literacy development, and so much more. Your child will enjoy their first steps towards discovering their independence through fun, positive interactions with other children in a safe, structured, and secure environment. Our ducklings curriculum also includes our Global Gull American Sign Language Program. Most young children begin to talk around 12 months old, while some infants even try to communicate with their parents and caregivers even earlier! One way of helping our young children express their feelings, wants, and needs without crying and frustration of a lack of understanding from adults is through simple sign language, commonly known as ‘Baby Core Signs.’ These core signs include words like milk, sleep, play, all done, more, mother, father, etc. *Please note that tuition rates are subject to change.*

Description
Our Cardinal program supports older toddlers and their increased independence, exploration of emotions and feelings, and fast-developing use of language. We also understand and support their continued desire to explore everything about their world. We believe our play-based philosophy and learning center structure gives them the best opportunity to do this. Activities such as ice painting or sorting objects by color will stimulate your child’s inquisitive mind. While in a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment, our program is designed to encourage individual creative expression through your child’s own strengths and interests and foster a passion for learning! Description
Penguins: The early preschool years are nothing short of amazing! Children at this age have an overwhelming eagerness to learn and you will notice that their ability to experiment, explore, and focus on set activities begins to change rapidly. Our Penguin program supports young preschoolers and their need to be challenged, engaged, and encouraged in their learning and personal interests. All of this is done with the belief that children learn best through play! The success of our preschool classrooms truly lies in the environment and materials that have been carefully selected to provide our preschool children with a high-quality learning experience. The individual learning environments in these classrooms invite children in to explore, create, wonder, and question the world around them and is where you can expect to see the elements of our Nest Play curriculum and many other activities come to life. Our Penguins curriculum includes the Global Gull Spanish Language Program. 10-12 minutes are set aside each day to introduce and practice new Spanish vocabulary. Words are selected that relate together in a common theme. Manipulatives and realistic images are used alongside learning new words. New Spanish vocabulary is incorporated into the children’s learning experiences and opportunities. A few examples of Spanish words we will learn together: Todo Hecho (All Done), Jugar (Play), and Sí (Yes). *Please note that tuition rates are subject to change.*

School’s out, and children are ready to get back to their much-awaited playtime. Parent Reviews
My co worker Jackie in the hummingbirds B room is fantastic. When my daughter started at the nest Jackie was her first teacher. I got the experience of being a parent and a co worker with Jackie. I enjoy working with such a kind and caring person. Our days together flow with ease and I feel we make a great team which allows us to provide excellent and top notch care to the infants in our room.
My children have attended the nest schools in strongsville since the end of sept. I have an infant in hummingbirds and a toddler in cardinals. I'm very satisfied with the care given to both my children. Some of my favorite things are.. *the procare app that the teachers log my children's daily activities, pictures, meals and diaper/potty *the extra classes that are included which are fit buddies (yoga), paints & pianos (art/music class), global gull (sign language) *the curriculum that is hands on and includes super fun lessons *the environment which has a very natural and clean look that's very inviting *the atmosphere of friendly and kind staff who truly enjoy working with my kids I could keep going but the best advice I can give is check the school out first yourself and then you will see exactly what I mean.
The staff provide amazing nurturing care for my toddler. Just in the short 5 months he has attended, he has taken off with learning his letters and now counting to 10 at just 2 years old. Highly recommend!
The staff is friendly and communicates well. The teachers are consistent.
My son has been going to the nest for almost 2 years, throughout every milestone and new classroom, each teacher has been absolutely incredible. They provide photos of the activities they do everyday day which brings so much peace of mind. My son has truly blossomed and learned so much during his time at The Nest.
From upper management (Haley and Leah) to the teachers and staff, it’s clear how much everyone at The Nest in Strongsville genuinely cares for your child. Trusting others to care for your baby is never easy, but we’ve felt confident since enrolling our daughter at just 3 months old. She’s now a year and a half and thriving at The Nest. I’m incredibly grateful to Haley, Leah, and the entire team for their daily dedication, turning everyday activities into learning experiences while always prioritizing safety. We couldn’t be happier with the Strongsville team and truly appreciate each and every teacher there.
