As children prepare for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities for them to develop the skills they will need while making friends and exploring the world around them. Our Pre-Kindergarten program helps your child learn more about themselves, others and the world around them. Preschool Classroom

In our Preschool classroom, children start their journeys into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting. Pre-K

Your child’s school readiness is the most important thing to us and that’s the focus of our Pre-K program. Building on Preschool learning, we focus on problem solving, responsive listening, language usage, and social skills. Our Focus on Literacy™ program features in-school and at-home activities designed to improve your child’s literacy and cognition in areas such as vocabulary development and alphabet knowledge. Junior Kindergarten

Our Junior Kindergarten program is for children not quite old enough for kindergarten or who may need additional skill development. This is the path for young 5-year-olds. We explore the structure and format of a day in kindergarten, with developmentally appropriate kindergarten curriculum. This program helps develop the critical skills your child needs for elementary school, such as: following multi-step instructions, organizing work, controlling impulses, sustaining attention, and finding multiple ways to solve problems. Pre-K

Pathfinders (4 years old to 5 years old): Children in the Pathfinders Classroom will be asked to complete more concrete tasks to ensure they’re prepared for the next step in their education. Our goal is to ensure your child has mastered all the necessary skills to enter Kindergarten by providing individual planning, challenging your child, and considering their progress. Pre-K children in the Pathfinders Classroom will strengthen math, science, writing, reading, arts, and physical skills through differentiation and small group activities and work on mastering key Kindergarten-required skills. Preschool

Ninety percent of a child’s brain is developed by age five! That’s why preschool—with critically important cognitive, physical, and socio-emotional stimulation—impacts a child’s development long-term. Preschool helps produce higher high school graduation rates, reduced instances of crime or teen pregnancy, and greater socialization and earning potential throughout their lives. Preschool-age children in the Explorers Classroom understand the idea of rules and they’re learning to play with their peers. Our Explorers Classroom curriculum help children delve into different topics through age-appropriate and engaging activities and helps build the foundation for Kindergarten readiness. Preschoolers in the Explorers Classroom will experience hands-on learning daily through a wide range of activities, develop fine motor skills that will help with writing, and practice gross motor skills outdoors to gain better control over larger muscles. Pre-K

BeeCurious prepares children for kindergarten through two-week study topics driven by their interests and questions. Literacy is a central focus, supported by dedicated centers, letter and sound games, and sensory writing—without worksheets, emphasizing hands-on, play-based learning. Learning centers transform with each theme, encouraging creativity and child-led play. The BP Read with Me program offers additional literacy support, and American Sign Language reinforces communication. Teachers guide development through observation and tailored challenges, with parent-teacher conferences held three times yearly to support kindergarten readiness.

Preschool

The BeeCurious Curriculum blends guided discovery with child-led exploration, adapting to children’s interests and knowledge. Classrooms feature diverse learning centers, including dramatic play, STEM, art, literacy, and music. Children enjoy family-style meals, daily group time, and outdoor play twice a day. Hands-on experiences—like observing life cycles—bring learning to life. The BP Read with Me program supports early literacy in small groups, while American Sign Language enhances communication. Pre-K

Robins: The older preschool years consist of so much learning and development! Their peer relationships are strengthening, they have a more complex understanding and use of language, and their overall motor skills have developed rapidly. Our Robins program continues to provide for preschoolers and their need to be challenged, engaged, and supported in their learning and personal interests. To prepare our older preschoolers for entering school, teachers provide guidance on following directions and routine, communication with others, problem-solving, and self-control through fun and engaging activities inside and outside the classroom. Learning experiences will take up the bulk of their day and is where you can expect to see the elements of our Nest Play curriculum and many other activities come to life. *Please note that tuition rates are subject to change.*

Pre-K Masters

Our Pre-K Masters program is thoughtfully designed for children who need a third year of preschool, whether due to a late birthday, developmental readiness, or simply the need for an extra year to grow before starting kindergarten. This Pre-K bridge program provides the perfect balance of academic skill-building and social-emotional development to ensure your child enters elementary school confident, capable, and excited to learn. Building on the foundation of our Robins program, Pre-K Masters is a discovery-based program designed to nurture the whole child and build a strong foundation for learning. Aligned with nationally recognized kindergarten readiness expectations, state early learning standards, and NAEYC best practices for teaching in early childhood, Pre-K Masters blends academic skill-based workshops with hands-on exploration to foster independence, problem-solving, and cognitive growth in young children. Within this program, children will engage in literacy, math, science, and social-emotional learning using discovery themes to make real-world connections and support life-long learning.

Preschool

We believe that parents should determine when and how much preschool is right for their children. With our Traditional Preschool Program, you select the number of sessions you would like, which days of the week, and whether you would like mornings or afternoons. We have amazing preschool teachers that utilize the terrific Creative Curriculum®system. This method leverages children’s natural curiosity to explore and learn more about the world around them. Our sessions are a little longer than most preschools – 3 hours – to allow for more learning time. If you need care before or after preschool, you can transition into or out of our Flexible Childcare program to meet your needs.

Flexible Childcare

When you are a member of Sweet Kiddles, you can use our centers anytime you need them for as long or as short as you need. Simply make a reservation using our online member portal or our mobile app. We stay open a little later than most centers. *Minimum stays do apply.* We offer top-notch, educational care with a running curriculum and teaching methodology based on the amazing Creative Curriculum® system. Our teachers are the best in the industry – most have formal education in childhood development, and we offer better pay and benefits so that we can attract and retain the best.

Pre-K

Pre-kindergarten is the year of preparation before kindergarten. Our goal is to ensure that every child who completes our pre-kindergarten program is greatly prepared for kindergarten, and this will translate into a life-long love of learning and education. The pre-kindergarten program extends all of the concepts introduced in our pre-school program to a higher level. A sampling of our goals for our pre-kindergarten children is recognition of at least 50 sight words; knowledge of letter sounds; rhyming and word patterning; counting to 100 by ones, fives and tens; addition and subtraction through toys; awareness of the world around them and social difference; the knowledge of the scientific process; and the ability to attempt to solve problems without teacher aid. The children continue with computers and Spanish, in addition to participating in an instrumental music program. *PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer weekend or overnight care.*

Preschool

In the pre-school program, children are consistently exposed to new ideas. Pre-school is a time of new boundaries and explorations, and our classrooms are set up to reflect that. Each classroom is sectioned into learning centers that the children are able to visit both independently and with teacher guidance. The entire day is based on balance: loud activities, then quiet; individual instruction, then group games; left-brained then right-brained activities. Our curriculum continues with review of the shapes, letters, numbers and colors. More handwriting practice is done working with writing independently in addition to tracing. Animals are now part of a larger science unit that include daily science lessons and more discovery experiences. *PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer weekend or overnight care.*
