Preschool

As children transition from the Nido program to our Preschool program, they enter a phase of the curriculum that builds upon on their expanded vocabulary. Collaboration and communication become the cornerstones of all activities. Within this framework, children are prompted to engage in small peer groups, fostering the exploration, design, and presentation of their projects. This approach encourages learners to formulate hypotheses, investigate processes, and draw conclusions, empowering them to articulate and defend ideas, building confidence in their ability to formulate individual opinions and become the authors of their own learning journeys. Explorations are based upon long term projects throughout the year, allowing students to build upon previously mastered concepts, deepening their ability to learn. Infants

Nido, which means “nest” in Italian, perfectly describes the nurturing setting for our youngest learners. At this stage, small children are seen as explorers and scientists. Primary

Our Primary program is where our students truly start in a Montessori learning environment. We offer morning only(8am-11am), traditional school day(8am-2:30pm) and full time options (7am-6pm). Along with a Summer Camp program from the time school ends to when the next year begins.

Toddler 2

Toddler 2 is where we are beginning to introduce Montessori to our students. We offer part time (8am-11am) and full time (7am-6pm)

Our preschool program is designed to encourage our three-year-olds to develop respect and appreciation for other cultures through our global curriculum, including weekly Spanish classes taught by an experienced bilingual preschool teacher. Children learn language skills through stories, music, and games in an immersive, interactive environment, with a learning program tailored to preschoolers’ unique needs.

SC First Steps (Pre-K)

For Four- and Five-Year-Olds Who Reside in South Carolina. The FREE SC First Steps program teaches children in South Carolina First Steps 4K programs to be socially and emotionally prepared for public 5K programs. The program aims to teach children the skills they need in communication, motor development, problem-solving, and social development. The SC First Steps 4K guidelines ensure that the learning experiences in the program support proper childhood development.
