We are so lucky to have found Amel. Amel has cared for our daughter since she was 6 months old, who happily runs into daycare every day with barely a backwards glance. It gives us so much comfort and trust knowing that our daughter is loved and cared for so well. With over 20 years of professional childcare experience, we view Amel as our daughter’s third grandmother and an extension of our parenting team. Amel provides healthy, home cooked meals, and worked with us to introduce solids, wean from a bottle, and transition to 1 nap. She instills in the children a love of reading and music, and will take them on outings to the local playground. We love the low child to caregiver ratio with lots of 1:1 attention (plus fewer germs!). Reference from other families she’s worked with are stellar - many of the children Amel has cared for are often the younger siblings of previous children. It’s a privilege to have peace of mind that my daughter will be cared for with love and a focus on child development, which made my own transition back to the office so much easier.

We love Amel! She has been watching our son since he was 3 months old. She has built such a special bond with him and he absolutely loves going there. She operates a small group setting so children get a lot of one on one attention. She really cares about her children and their progression. Our son needed physical therapy and Amel helped us support him through his home exercise program which was a big reason for his quick improvement. Amel has been a great resource for us as new parents and has been super supportive our questions and concerns along the way. We are so grateful to have found Amel and highly recommend her!

I cannot recommend Amel's daycare enough. Both my daughter and son have attended her daycare (my daughter graduated out and my 16MO son is there now) and Amel continues to shine above the rest. Her kind, gentle mannerisms bring an immediate sense of ease and trust to both parents and children alike. She is caring, attentive, cooks wonderful home-style meals, and encourages learning through play and exploration. She also takes the children on regular outings around the Nob Hill area. We also appreciate the size of her home-daycare, which has a smaller number of children and grants Amel the ability to focus on individual needs and provide tailored feedback and advice to parents as necessary. In short, we don't know what we'd do without Amel and we consider her an extension of our family. You're in wonderful hands with her and we feel so lucky to have found her!

I feel so fortunate to have found Amel! She came highly recommended and it's worked out well for us. Her communication stands out -- she always tells us if our baby has a diaper rash, if she didn't sleep well, or any other issue that might be going on. She was the first to notice when our daughter had a slight speech delay, and she gave us some tips to encourage her speech. She loves to play with the babies and my daughter enjoys going there.
