They met him exactly where he was. They challenged him without overwhelming him. They gave him space without ever letting him feel alone. And slowly, beautifully, Ethan transformed. He became confident. He became engaged. He became joyful in his learning. By the time he transitioned to public school kindergarten (also Montessori‑based), the difference was undeniable. Ethan was more prepared, more independent, and more socially comfortable than many children who had not experienced Belden Hill’s environment—even those already enrolled in the same program. Belden Hill didn’t just prepare him academically; it prepared him as a whole human being. If you’re reading this because you’re deciding whether Montessori, or specifically Belden Hill Montessori, is right for your child, let me be clear: You will not regret choosing this school. My daughter had a wonderful experience at BHM! Loving, caring teachers. A robust Montessori curriculum that has her over-prepared for 1st grade. A beautiful environment with an amazing outdoor space. Multiple Zoom classes daily throughout the pandemic, thoughtfully structured to support both continued learning and social connections. Five day a week, full day programs available to support working families, and a commitment to fully open this fall. I cannot recommend BHM enough!!

We have loved having our years at Belden Hill Montessori! Sara and Carol take the time to really get to know the children and help foster growth in a way that promotes confidence and independence. We're always amazed by what our kids can do on their own, and I'm certain that an early Montessori education helped get them there sooner.
