Broadway Children's School is what a preschool should be. Curriculum: The teachers develop a play-based curriculum that includes lots of variety from free-play with toys to story time. My son brings home art projects every day. The teachers do a nice job of incorporating activities related to the holidays/cultural traditions of the students. Teachers: This is what made BCSO stand out when I was touring schools - the teachers are all experienced and have been at BCSO for years. Some even started as parents at the school and later began working there. I feel safe knowing that they are watching my child. Space: The school is in a converted house and feels cozy but with plenty of room for the kids. The younger and older classes have separate rooms as well as some shared spaces that they rotate through. The school has a great yard with huge shady trees where the messier activities can take place.
