Description
Our classroom provides an ideal environment to foster individual development and self-help skills. We use a scaffolded approach to learning through systematically building on students’ experiences and knowledge as they are acquiring new skills in order to enhance learning and aid in the mastery of tasks. Their curious minds are exposed to an enriched curriculum focusing on language development by using pictures, books and basic academics in their environment. Following simple instructions is implemented through circle time, story time, art, and curriculum projects. Besides the social, emotional development, we also focus on developing fine motor skills through fun and sensory activities. Our Little Explorers are ready to put to practice their newfound independence by exploring their surroundings as they come with a Brighter understanding of their world around them.

Description
Our classrooms are filled with endless learning opportunities to enhance children’s cognitive and language skills with basic academics through small-group activities that encourage investigation, exploration, and discovery. Our scaffolding approach is a critical component in teaching new tasks with multiple steps where our teachers provide support for students. Our children that are now engaging in short sentence conversions are able to absorb information within our curriculum that is designed to support creative expression, literacy and music by fostering their curious minds. By introducing skills that enable independence through enriching art projects and hands-on activities, we are ensuring they are able to expand concepts that were developed in Little Explorers.

Description
This classroom provides an enriched and challenging hands-on curriculum that continues to ignite children’s inner curiosity enabling realistic learning opportunities through a solid routine that brings out their creativity. Exploring world geography, reading multicultural literature, researching world cultures, playing traditional games are just some of the ways we are building a community of global learners. Throughout the learning process, our students are able to watch their teacher model, or demonstrate, each step in the task or strategy multiple times. Such modeling and repetition allows students to understand both how to perform each step and why each step is important. In this phase our children are practicing by applying their knowledge and developing it further by learning about the world and its food, music and clothing. Children will get to explore and experience various cultures Around the World.

Parent Reviews
Absolutely love the program provided and the teachers that help the children grow.
Building Kidz of rancho Cordova is amazing. All the teachers and the director is educated and know how to help kids and transition them into the program. They are very patient and work with a child based on individuals needs. So glad I found this place and I would definitely recommend it.
We are very grateful for Building Kidz Rancho Cordova. We looked at La Petit and Kinder Care and Montessori, hoping to get Steve into a daycare that could meet his unique needs. He missed the Kindergarten "born by" date and was a little too old for most daycares. Everywhere we looked there were waiting lists. We looked at Building Kidz as a last resort. The care center is located in a humble parking lot, next to a Denny's and a salon. I never guessed BKs would be so great. Like everything good, it's the people who make it so. The teachers and support staff are adept and loving and communicative and available and...I could go on and on. The Brightwheel app is brilliant. I see pictures of Steve dancing and playing with other little people and working on academics and art...I get about 3 to five pictures a day. Mostly, we are the most grateful for the people. This particular center has an amazing staff. I'm not being dramatic. Amazing.
Not only does Building Kids of Rancho Cordova create a fun and learning focused environment for my 3 year old, but they also promote independence and autonomy. My wife’s and mine experience has been validated through the incredible communication from school administration. We couldn’t have picked a better preschool.
My daughter loves this school. She is always bringing home fun projects she did with her friends. She’s happy when I pick her up and the staff are all very nice and great with children.
