Description
In our Honors & Kindergarten program, each child further develops focus, motivation, persistence, and discipline through their work. In this framework of order, the child grows at their own pace and rhythm. At the same time, they find the joys of learning and developing social and intellectual discipline. Our Honors & Kindergarten program sets children up for success in the elementary grades and beyond. This is done by drawing on their concrete base to develop conceptual thinking. Students in our Honors Program are not yet school-age but are ready for more rigorous academics in a full-day program and thrive in a Montessori mixed-age classroom.

Parent Reviews
We are very grateful to this school for accommodating our daughter after the year had already started, we don't expect they can do this for everyone but it's one of the reasons we loved it so much. The director of this school is amazing, she pours her heart, time, work, and love into the school, kids, activities, events, and ceremonies. The teachers are excellent as is the quality of the education. The behavior expectations are strict, but their methods are objectively effective and the teachers use proper disciplinary techniques (our daughter never complained about teachers shouting, yelling, or being mean like at other schools she's been at). Our 5 year old finished pre-K and is able to read, do math, and also learned history and geography. We recently took a long road trip and she often talked to us in the car about things she learned in school about the different states we visited, or historical figures we mentioned (She learned a lot about MLK, for instance). The school is wonderfully diverse, there is no religious affiliation so our daughter was taught equally about all religious and cultural traditions during the different holidays. We loved all the events, and ceremonies we attended, in the year our daughter was here we went to a few seasonal concerts were the kids sang and danced, as well as a trunk or treat, Halloween parade, earth-day activity, and a surprisingly robust graduation ceremony! We absolutely recommend this school to anyone in the area, preschool is a very important developmental stage for children and this school did a fantastic job setting our daughter up for success in K-12!
Amazing schools, lovely teachers and director! We love the school!
via FacebookAn amazing school with engaged teachers. We love it and so does our daughter who is learning lots and making great friends!
via FacebookOur children love this school! The director and all the teachers they have had over the years have been wonderful! My daughter looks forward to going to school each day and I believe they are the reason she loves learning. Both kids are very happy when I pick them. We love the school!
via FacebookMy two older children went to Children't Manor Montessori School the entire time they were in pre-school. In the elementary school prep category they get an A+..... Attending here gave both of them a very strong start to elementary school. Howard County is very competitive and your child needs to be prepared going into pre-school. In the teacher/staff category they get an A+.... The kids loved their teachers, but then again, had they not loved their teachers I would have pulled them out. I rate them an A+ because I now have a 1 year old (he is a decade younger then his siblings). Amazingly, all the teachers/staff who taught my older children still work at the school. No have no turnover rate in a decade is unbelievable. This is additional evidence that the teachers are great and they are happy. Did I mention Mrs. Jenny- she is the director of the school and I adore her. In the price category they get an A.... the prices have not increased since my older kids attended and it was reasonable then. The school is a little older but I don't care about looks. I care about awesome people who can teach my child elementary school basics, prepare them for Kindergarten, and have fun doing it. Can't go wrong with this decision...
