Parent Reviews
We adore Ayelet and her daycare/preschool. My son is 18 months old and has been attending Daly Daycare and Preschool since he was 6 months old. As an early childhood specialist myself, I am very particular about where my son attends daycare. so, when I first met Ayelet, I asked A LOT of questions. She patiently and thoughtfully answered all of my questions and it was clear to me that she was an experienced teacher. She was kind and approachable and when we decided to enroll, was flexible with our transition plan. Her environment is beautiful and child-centered with multiple materials to manipulate, explore, and engage with. There is a nice balance of messy art, outside and indoor play experiences. Her approach is relationship-based and thoughtful. My son LOVES her! and we especially love all of her daily updates and pictures about our son's development and interests. Whenever questions or needs come up, she immediately responds and does her best to accommodate our needs. My son has grown so much in her care and we notice more social skills, language, and confidence as a result of Ayelet's care. We feel so lucky to have found such an exemplary program.
My 3 year old was with Ayelet for two years and for that I feel lucky. When we would arrive at school, my son would see Ayelet and just smile. For a parent, you really feel fortunate when your three year old (two when he started) is happy day after day. There were a few things that I think made him feel this way. The first was that she was always happy to see him. She got excited in the morning and that got him excited to start the day. She spoke to him in a way that he felt the love and respect he wanted and on mornings when he was a little off, her tone would coax him out of his bad moods. On the school picnics or field trips that I joined in on, it was obvious she had control of the class and that was big for me. The kids listened and listened happily, understanding their part in activities. As a family we were so happy to have our son get to spend time with her and connect and we thank her for that.
