Parent Reviews
We have loved the experience at Daybreak Star! Our son attended his last year of preschool here, and is leaving with deep friendships and a readiness for kindergarten. The teachers and staff are nurturing and supportive, guiding our sons education. There is lots of outdoor time, good meals, and well defined curriculum and routine. The location is absolutely beautiful, set in Discovery Park. The classroom was incredibly diverse and inclusive. We recommend the school to everyone - it's a gem.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We’re so glad to hear your son is leaving Daybreak Star with strong friendships and feeling ready for kindergarten. That’s what we hope for every child! It’s wonderful to know the diversity, outdoor time, and nurturing environment stood out to your family. We truly appreciate your kind words and recommendation!
Our experience at Daybreak Star has been amazing! Especially the second year, after a complicated first year with a lot of changes with staff. We are so grateful for all the current staff and director! Everyone is so sweet to the kids, and my kid feels close to everyone at school even the teachers that weren’t in her classroom. The location is unbeatable, and for us it was very important for her to be in a school with a lot of diversity of any kind. Because of Daybreak Star, we have now learned more about native indigenous cultures and we have a stronger connection to the region that we live in. You won’t regret it, my kid and her classmates have been so happy there for the last two years.
Thank you for your thoughtful review. We’re truly honored to have been part of your child’s early learning journey these past two years. While we acknowledge the challenges that came with transitions in the earlier year, we’re glad to hear that the second year has been such a positive experience for your family. It means a lot to us that your child feels a sense of connection with our whole team. That sense of belonging is exactly what we strive for! We also appreciate your reflections on diversity and culture. At Daybreak Star, we’re committed to nurturing not only children’s development, but also their understanding and respect for Native cultures and the land we live on. Thank you again for trusting us with these important early years!
