It can be so hard to build the confidence and trust to leave your young children, but that is exactly what I found with Debbie and Simply For Kids. My oldest son started at 2 years old and my younger son was with Debbie from right after his first birthday to 3.5 when we moved out of the area. I loved the home daycare feel, the learning and preschool readiness, and the home cooked meals and loving environment she provides. You will not find that Toy Story chaotic scene at pick up and drop off that you might find in a larger commercial daycare center - the kids all know what is expected and she has great command of her environment. Debbie is a great communicator and always knows what is going on with the kids every single day - from how much they ate at lunch to if whether they got a scraped knee during play. She is such a special person that treats the kids like family, creating special memories for birthdays, holidays and every day in between. We were sad to leave when we moved away, but I hope our experience can help the next family feel comfortable to make Simply For Kids daycare a trusted space for their kids.

I had both my child in this home daycare, and the experience has been exceptional. Debbie is not only nurturing but also provides a stimulating environment for learning through play. My son has been attending Simply for Kids Daycare since he was 13 months old. We are so thankful to have found Ms Debbie. She is a true partner in raising our son. At 2 years old he knows a majority of his letters, can count to 10, knows his colors and shapes. She provides a safe space for him to learn, play and interact with other children. I sent my son to Simply For Kids Daycare under Debbie's care. She is superb, takes excellent care of kids, and enjoys playing with them. I saw a few changes in my son's discipline/habits right after starting to go to the daycare (for example, picking up his shoes and placing them on the shoe stand). Projects and park time are excellent. Daily detailed briefing about kids' activities of the day is no doubt superb. I highly recommended Debbie and Simply for Kids Daycare.

contacted Debbie the beginning of 2022 about enrolling our daughter into her daycare. Let me tell you we couldn't have made a better choice. She's caring, thoughtful and took excellent care of our daughter. The projects,park time and food were all great. Her assistant was also great. We love Debbie!! My son started going to Simply for Kids when he was 1.5 years old, and he has been there for a little over 2 years. There are many reasons we appreciate Debbie and her team. First, the kids have a solid routine every day that includes different activities and time outdoors. Debbie builds a curriculum that involves a theme for each month and they do activities that build off of that theme. For example, I recall one theme focused around plants and my son learned about different stages of plant growth and even planted seeds in a small cup to take home. Debbie is also very thoughtful about her food preparations (can you believe it, on top of it all, she cooks homemade meals for the kids and she's magically able to get my son to eat vegetables). Lastly, throughout COVID, Simply for Kids was been one of the first places I knew of taking all of the necessary and even extra precautions to keep all of the kids safe. Debbie is very diligent in cleaning, having the kids sit in their designated spots, wearing their masks, and more. Every day that my son went to Debbie's, we knew that he would work on activities that stimulated his development, get some exercise, and most importantly be safe. We highly recommend Simply for Kids.

Our daughter Natalie has been attending Debbie's daycare for almost three years and we could not be more pleased with the quality of care she has received there. Debbie does it all: healthy homemade meals, daily walks to local parks and playgrounds, themed lessons, circle time, yoga, daily arts & crafts, songs, story time, letters, shapes, numbers, practice in handwriting, holiday and birthday parties. The kids have tons of fun and are getting an excellent early exposure to foundational skills.

My daughter was in Debbie’s care for 2 years (1-3 years old) and I still feel like we hit the jackpot, finding the best caregiver she’s ever had before or since. Not only did Debbie provide an excellent, safe, and compassionate educational experience for my girl during her toddler years, she created a community of friends. We’re 5 years out of daycare now but still so close to some of the other families who attended at the same time. Debbie gives her kids a strong foundation for preschool, setting them up for great success both with school concepts (ABCs and 1-2-3s, in English and Spanish) as well as the all important social-emotional skills they’ll need to help that transition from a family daycare to a bigger preschool with new faces and teachers. She feeds them well, cares for them deeply, and makes sure they are continually learning and having fun. I recommend Debbie to anyone looking for a place for their infant or toddler.

Our daughter Cora attended Simply for Kids from the age of 18 months to 3.5 years (2019-2021). Cora is our second child and our kids have been in a variety of childcare situations over the years. This was hands down the best. Cora left to attend preschool and we all miss Debbie so much. Simply for Kids provides a low ratio of kids to staff, which allows staff to really get to know the kids and give them personal attention. Families tend to stay a long time and the kids are able to form strong bonds with the caregivers and each other. That low ratio, plus Debbie's comprehensive Covid rules, made us feel very safe throughout the pandemic. There are so many other great things about Simply for Kids and Debbie—lots of time spent outside at playgrounds, home cooked meals, circle time, yoga, dance parties, birthday parties, projects, etc. There is an established curriculum where kids learn about different topics (plants, animals, space, seasons, etc.) in a variety of ways. Cora also learned the whole alphabet, numbers 1-20+, and some Spanish. Her preschool has been impressed with her knowledge, her ability to play well with others, and her willingness to try new foods, and we know all of that came from Simply for Kids. Cora loved going every morning and was usually sad to come home. She still talks about Debbie all the time. We would have stayed forever if we could have. We wish Debbie all the best in her new location in Fairfield which looks wonderful.

Both my kids attended Simply for Kids while Debbie was still in San Francisco. Our daughter Stella was with her from age 2 to 4, and our son Joe was with her from August until she moved in November. We had such a wonderful experience with Debbie and can't say enough good things about her and her program. She does so much for the kids; There are daily outings, home-cooked healthy meals, lessons, art projects, dancing and birthday parties. Debbie taught my daughter her ABC's, and 1,2.3's , they even practiced tracing letters and numbers. My daughter, who is now in preschool, always gets compliments from her teachers about how great she is with her letters. And those fundamentals came from Debbie. Both my kids are picky eaters, but Debbie, with time, got them to try new foods, which I consider a huge victory. She provided structure and set rules, which the kids learned to follow. She if firm but patient and kind. Her approach is truly amazing and the kids love her so much for it! When it came to Covid, Debbie was ahead of the game. She was sanitizing and taking extra precautions even before we went into lockdown in 2020. The older kids had to wear masks and there were strict rules in place for families, to make sure everyone stays safe. We were so sad when Debbie announced that she was moving. She had our full trust , the kids loved her and we all considered her like family. She is truly the best!
