We are extremely happy that our son is in such great hands at Destined to Be. Ms. Patrice is wonderful with all of the kids and has such an amazing personality. From the moment we did our walkthrough, I knew something clicked and since day 1 we have always felt the love and care that she brings every day. Ms. Patrice communicates so well with parents and always sends pictures, videos, and updates throughout the day, which gives me so much peace of mind and a big smile to see all the fun activities that are taking place. It has truly been a wonderful experience for our son and our family. Our son always looks forward to going to daycare and spending time with Ms. Patrice. We are so grateful for the care, attention, and love that Ms. Patrice shows to all the children!

I am someone who prioritizes and deeply cares about the development, safety and wellbeing of the future generation. One of my biggest fears as an older sister was that my little sister would be deprived of proper preparation and education. In this age where curriculum is ever changing and not always for the best. Learning basics skills and tools for future educational development is super important. Working with Ms. Patrice has allowed me to see first hand just how much love, passion, dedication, and effort she pours into each and every kid that walks through her door. She extends her support to the parents to ensure the children get exactly what they need to succeed as they move up in the world. Working alongside her has been nothing short of a dream. She is extremely compassionate, warm, kind and caring just to make a few things. Many people can enter this field but not all of them have what is necessary to be great at it. Ms. Patrice does a phenomenal job here and I have been overjoyed with the growth she has fostered in my little sister.

We saw a tremendous growth in confidence, communication, emotional awareness and positive behavior. Destined to Be is a nurturing and supportive environment where our child learned kindness, respect, problem solving and how to express her feelings in a healthy way. She was excited to learn everyday and developed important skills that will benefit her far beyond elementary school. Where do I even begin? Ms. Patrice is truly a blessing. My little one was a complete Velcro baby, so the thought of transitioning her to daycare filled me with anxiety. We both cried during those first few days, and I remember feeling heartbroken, worrying that she might feel scared, abandoned, and surrounded by strangers. Then Ms. Patrice sent me photos and videos of my daughter slowly beginning to play and interact. It was exactly what my mama heart needed. Ms. Patrice meets each child where they are developmentally and socially, creating a safe and nurturing environment where they are gently encouraged to engage with others and participate in activities. She teaches kindness, manners, and accountability, while fostering independence and celebrating every effort and milestone. It truly feels like the children have formed a little family at Destined to Be. Ms. Patrice has created a well-balanced and structured program that supports learning, social development, and fun. The children participate in a variety of activities that help build important developmental skills, while also learning responsibility and teamwork through daily tasks. We feel incredibly fortunate that our very first daycare experience was with Ms. Patrice, and would recommend her without any hesitation.

My experience with Ms.Pateice started before she opened her own daycare. She was working at another daycare in Benicia and from day one I knew she had a pure heart and loved the kids and her job with her whole heart. Her smile is infectious and her attention to every child's needs is amazing and as a parent this is what you want in a caregiver. She has cared for my younger daughter who is now 9 years old and she still wants to go to the daycare and visit. My older daughters have also been to Destined to be and they love it. We have all done field trips with the school and also participated in events at the school. She prepares every day with intention and it shows inside and out of the school. If you want a small, loving, home feel, and trusting place to put your children Destined to be is it. No kid is left behind and will be given not just the learning they need but the love and care.

Ms. Patrice is everything you could want in a preschool teacher. She creates such a loving community - celebrating birthdays, first days, doing circle time, impromptu dance parties, and helping the kids really bond like family. With the small class environment, our son gets tons of one-on-one attention (which was a lifesaver during potty training!) She plans activities that boost the kids’ development and foster kindergarten readiness, plus the kids spend daily time outdoors. Ms. Patrice is flexible, communicative (sends cute photos throughout the day, holds parent teacher conferences), and very reasonably priced. Miss Patrice has the biggest heart and such a great personality! She’s so wonderful with the kids and she’s always been our daughter‘s favorite daycare provider. Our daughter used to whisper to us in our ear that Miss Patrice was her favorite and not to tell anyone. Finding good child care is hard, but Patrice is professional, personable, and so good with kids that we never had to worry when dropping off our daughter. 10 out of 10 recommend!
