Parent Reviews
Dulin has been a wonderful preschool for our child and a welcoming community for our whole family. The teachers are professional, creative and extremely caring. The parent-run board is super organized and the co-op model lends itself to a warm and welcoming community. The focus on play-based learning and developmentally appropriate activities has helped my child to learn crucial social skills while instilling an early love of learning. We've made wonderful friends at Dulin plus- it's so affordable!
Dulin has been the best choice I've made for my kids. I passed up multiple schools when we lived elsewhere in order to settle on "the right one" only to still just be moderately happy. I've never second guessed my choice to place my kids here. I know they are loved and well cared for no matter what they are working through.
This place might be the best kept secret in Falls Church! We just started this year at Dulin, and our 2 year old absolutely loves it. Miss Kristin (her teacher) is so patient and caring, and my daughter adores her. We’ve gotten to know so many other families, many of whom we meet up with outside of school for playdates. I love that 1-2x a month, I get to be in the classroom, seeing how she engages and plays with the other kids. Because of the co-op model, there is a commitment involved, but we love it because we know that all of the other families are just as committed to their child’s education as we are! My toddler has even brought home some amazing new skills from preschool - after seeing that some of her other classmates no longer use diapers, she wanted to get potty trained as well! I can’t recommend Dulin enough, it’s such a wonderful community.
We LOVE Dulin. It’s a wonderful community of people who are so committed to making it great! The co-op model is more time, but to me that’s great time I get to see my kid in their class, meet the other kids, and work alongside the other parents and the fantastic teachers. It’s been the perfect place to start my toddler in “school.” So, so glad we found this place! I recommend it to everyone with preschool-aged kids!
We have loved our experience at Dulin. As a military family constantly on the move, community is very important to us. And, we have found no better community than the one here at Dulin. Our two boys absolutely love school. The teachers, families and students make this a welcoming, kind and friendly place.
I have had two students who went through Dulin CoOp Preschool. We tried out three other preschools in the area and this one is by far the best! The community is incredibly welcoming, the communication with the teachers cannot be beaten (especially since you are in the classroom once a month), and you get to know your kid's friends and see for yourself how well they do in school, it has a well-maintained gated playground, as well as an indoor play area for snow and rain, it is very reasonably priced (and they offer a scholarship to families in need!), and most importantly the really involved staff and teachers who love what they do!
My son just finished his first year at Dulin and could not have loved it more. He woke up every day asking if it was time to go to school yet. The co-op structure really allowed me to be a part of his preschool experience while still letting him explore the new world around him. The community is welcoming and supportive. I could not imagine a better preschool experience for my son.
Dulin has been a wonderful place for my four year-old to learn and grow. The play-based program and flexible and creative teaching has allowed him to thrive. I love that parents can be so involved in running the school and have enjoyed being able to observe my child first-hand in the classroom multiple times a month. Dulin feels like a nurturing community, for children and parents alike.
We found Dulin mid-year when we moved from D.C. to Falls Church, and have found the teachers and community to be super welcoming and supportive. The classrooms are cheerful and brimming with interactive activities, and my 4-year-old loves it there. I'm already looking forward to my younger son being able to join once he's 2.
This is my family's fourth year at the school -- my oldest son graduated last year and now my youngest son attends the school. We ABSOLOUTELY LOVE the school. Because all of the parents volunteer at the school, you get to know everyone and it's a really supportive community. The teachers are fantastic, and the classrooms are so welcoming. I can't imagine a better experience for my children. It's such a warm and loving first educational environment for your littles. <3
