We have absolutely loved Rebeca and everyone at El Refugio. Our son started there when he was 11 months old and will be a little more than 20 months old when we leave. The only reason we are leaving is because we're moving out of state. Rebeca is more than accommodating to all the families at El Refugio. Our son is happy to be dropped off everyday and is happy when we pick him up. We have seen so much growth in him! Rebeca has such an amazing intuition with children. She knows the details of every child's day - which is so impressive to me given the range of ages and developmental stages. Right now our son is on the older end and there are kids at young as 6 months and she's got it all down! I really could not recommend El Refugio highly enough. We are so sad to be leaving, but are happy to give the opportunity for another family to experience their care. Thank you Rebeca, Aunt Rebeca, Yeybi, and Alejandra! :)

I can’t say enough how happy our family has been with El Refugio day care! They became a second family to my twins, they both love going here and when they are sick they cry because they want to go to school! Rebeca took care of everything for us, from potty training to removing pacifiers!!! In addition to be amazing with them, she makes great good for them and she cares so much that kids eat properly and they like things!! It’s like going to a restaurant every day! Rebeca is also very in tune with every single child she takes care of, she knows when they are sad and she communicates that with the parents all the time. I sent my twins here when they were 8 months, if I knew Rebeca existed I wouldn’t have thought twice to send them here way earlier!! I would give them million stars, not only 5! We will be sad when kids will transition to preschool but we will absolutely stay in touch because the whole family love this place!

We are so happy to have found El Refugio daycare. Rebeca and Yeybi are very warm and loving and my daughter is always happy and excited to see them in the morning. They work with every family to make sure the needs of each individual child are met, including help with potty training! It's also super helpful, and comforting to know that our daughter gets organic, home cooked meals. Our daughter is clearly in an stimulating environment, as she comes home with lots of art projects, new songs and dances in Spanish (that she teaches us!), and her language development is fantastic.

I can't speak highly enough about Rebeca. I am grateful to have found her because she has treated our family as family. The care that is provided is structured, calm, and warm. I have sent both my boys to her and they look forward to spending the day with them and the other children. I can tell there is always good food, fun projects, counting, singing, and dancing that goes on when they're in their care. My boys always come home happy. During this pandemic, I have not worried about the safety of my boy. Rebeca informed us of how she is keeping the children, herself, and her family safe during this time. She is cautious and aware of the steps needed to keep everyone safe. Rebeca has a ton of experience both personal and professional. She has raised 4 amazing children of her own as well as the countless children that have come through her care. I am in constant amazement of her calm and patient demeanor!

I feel so lucky to have found El Refugio Family Daycare. My son has been with them since he was just an infant and is now almost 2 years old. He loves them dearly and has learned so much--even some yoga moves! It's been wonderful to have a daycare I trust so much, and the fact that they prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks has been extremely helpful. They have also been incredibly responsible about COVID-19. In short, I highly recommend!

We've had our daughter at El Refugio from 5 months until 2.5 years when she transitioned to pre-school. We loved everything about the experience. Rebeca took care of things that seemed hard to us like potty training! Our daughter would often come home with paint on her hands and some fun art she had made that day. She was happy to be dropped off each day. It was a great 2 years, we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and loving place to send your young kids.

Hello! Both our kids were with Rebeca at El Refugio from when they were babies till they went to preschool, and we couldn't have asked for a better situation. It was such a joy (and relief!) to know they were somewhere safe and loved, getting absolutely delicious and nutritious food, and having a wonderful time. We absolutely love El Refugio. They have been caring for our son since he was four months old (he's now 20 months), and it has been a great experience. The teachers are kind, caring, and engaging. We're often amazed by the latest trick he has learned at daycare, whether it's a new word, dance move, or interest in using the potty. They are also responsive, communicative, and willing to go above and beyond. They even prepare all of his food and snacks, which saves us lots of time. We highly recommend El Refugio.
