Parent Reviews
About four years ago, family circumstances caused me to take immediate custody of my four grandchildren and, because I also had a career, I needed to find a caring and reliable learning center that would have four openings at the last minute. KinderCare Green Meadows did and Cheryl Thorson, the Center Director, understood our circumstances. She not only made the children feel welcome, but worked with me, as a team, to ensure their emotional needs were met as we transitioned through the family changes and ultimately, through my adopting them two years ago. They still attend KinderCare Green Meadows every day. I am thankful to Cheryl and the entire staff for the excellent care and continued support they give our entire family. They are truly the best!
My spouse and I trust the two very most important people in our lives to KinderCare, and we've never had a moment where we felt that that this trust was misplaced. Cheryl and her team use compassion and caring to provide a safe, structured, and educational environment that we believe have assisted our children in becoming better prepared for school, making friends, and better able to negotiate the every day struggles that come from being "little people".
My son started as an infant at KinderCare. I had only visited one other center before choosing KinderCare. My family has had some history with the same center my son goes to. I myself, went there as a toddler and have some of my first memories there. So the center had some sentimental value to us from the beginning. The teachers and director, who was actually teaching when I was a toddler there, made the rest easy. Even going as an infant, I got to know all the other teachers through passing by or greetings and goodbyes. My son has thrived and is surrounded by positive teachers with great interactions and curriculum. The transition from infant to toddler was very smooth and easy. We would start by going to say goodbye when we left the infant room each day, to the point where he didn't want to leave the toddler room when we did really have to leave for the day. All of the staff members are so friendly and nice. The center feels like a home daycare to us, not so much a "center." I would recommend KinderCare to any family or close friends that are looking for daycare. They have become part of my family!
