Parent Reviews
Oh my…there’s so much to say of Guidepost Montessori Copperhill. My little one started at GP at 11 weeks in Nido and he’s still attending now at 2 1/2 and is in the Toddlers Spanish Immersion program. While looking at other options, what stood out the most for me, and it was very important, was the Spanish immersion program because we are raising our little one bilingual. So besides the beautiful school grounds in a gated community, that’s somewhat hidden from the public (another plus), the Spanish Immersion program sold us compared to the rest. Everyone says it takes a village to take care of little ones and not having any family around that we can rely on, GP quickly became that village. As a first time mom, I was obviously concerned with how my little one was going to be taken care of and if I was doing things correctly. The Guides in the Nido program helped me be a more confident parent as they helped me navigate baby lead weaning when it came to meals. The Montessori way encourages independence at a very young age so with the Guides help, I became more confident in letting my little one be more independent at home so he can practice what he’s learning at school. Not only have the Guides been impactful in my little one’s mental and physical growth, they have also impacted my mental health by being loving and nurturing to my little one. The school is open year round, minus major holidays, which is great because sometimes my husband and I both have to work certain holidays like Memorial Day or Labor Day and I know my little one will have fun with holiday activities and we don’t have to stress about finding another sitter. Besides the learning aspect of the school, I have increased my social circle by meeting moms that are going through similar struggles and accomplishments with their little ones. We have formed bonds that we hope to keep for a very long time as our kids grow up and hopefully stay within the same schools. No school is going to be perfect per our motherly standards, but GP Montessori Copperhill, in my opinion, comes really close. I have never felt unheard or ignored or my concerns not validated. My child and I have grown here and are thriving in this community. The best investment I have made on my kid so far was picking this preschool and being open to the Guides helping me raise my little one.
Our son has been going to Guidepost Montessori at Copper Hill for a year. He started in the Nido program and he is now in the Toddler classroom. We are very happy with all the teachers he’s had so far. All of them have shown professionalism and dedication to the children. The school also puts together different events throughout the year for the kids and parents which is really nice. I would recommend this school to other families.
This school is amazing! From the way they talk to children to the activities they have for the parents everything is with intention. The teachers are kind and you can truly feel the love they have for early childhood education and the children.
We drive our son 40 mins each way every day to take him to this school because their program and the people who work there are just top notch. We tried other preschools closer to our area but they do not compare. My son goes to the Spanish immersion class, and he loves the activities they do every day. He has gotten so much better at being independent and self confident since he started at Guidepost. Would absolutely recommend!
