As a first time mom, looking for high quality childcare you can trust seems daunting. We toured over 15 home and commercial daycares before we chose this one and it's one of the best decisions I ever made. My son has been at Ms. Hong's daycare for close to 3 years (from infant to toddler) and from day one it feels like she has treated my son as her own. I love that my son has exposure to both Mandarin and Cantonese at daycare, his Chinese is already much better than mine! I was a little nervous about the communication since I don't speak Chinese well, but Ms. Hong can also communicate in English verbally and via text. I personally think text is easier. The daycare has both padded indoor space and a clean outdoor space with lots of toys and activities for children of all ages. I love that she also has a garden where the children are occasionally taught to pick fresh vegetables from, which are then incorporated into their lunches! Ms. Hong is the primary care giver for the children, but she does have an aide (grandma) to help with food preparation/cooking and diaper/clothing changes. As working parents, having a flexible daycare has been essential for us and communication has always been easy. We recently moved onto preschool and while my son has adjusted well, he often mentions how much he misses this daycare and Ms Hong. If I ever get the courage (and energy 😂) to have a second child, I would not hesitate to come back!

And no worries at all about communication; your texts are always clear and I enjoy our easy chat. Thank you for noticing our little garden and the outdoor space. Seeing the kids pick vegetables and then eat them for lunch is the best reward. Grandma (my aide) was so happy to hear your kind words about her cooking and diaper changes—she says thank you! My son went here for nearly three years starting at 4 months old and this daycare has always been wonderful. Ms Hong truly cares for all the kids - we felt like she really treats the kids like her own family. The space she has for the kids is engaging and clean - she has a variety of toys inside and a bunch of little vehicles in the back. She speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin which was great for us. Highly recommend for any future parents.

We've been bringing our infant daughter here for a few months now, and we are impressed and appreciative of Ms Hong's quality of care. She's very attentive, ensuring the kids have social/interactive time, and also sends great pictures and updates at the end of the day.

We love Hong Daycare ! The staff is always warm and inviting at drop offs. There is always clear communication through message and photos. My baby is happy and safe. I never have any worries with this daycare, which is great as a new mom. I would highly recommend this daycare.
