Part of the nationwide Head Start program offering free preschool education to qualifying San Francisco residents. In addition to an early childhood education, students receive family, health, and social services. Daily activities include music time, reading, math, outdoor play, science, and life skills. The primary goal is to ensure that at-risk children have an equal opportunity to receive quality education and health services. Children may enroll in either the morning or afternoon session.
