Parent Reviews
We love Kane Street Kids! Both my son and daughter attended KSK and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! The teachers are amazing, providing so much attention, care and love to each child. It is such a warm and nurturing environment and an overall amazing introduction to school for kids. Kane Street also does a wonderful job fostering a close- knit community amongst the parents. We are grateful to be a part of it!
KSK has been an amazing experience for our daughter. The quality of care, education and community has surpassed our expectations. The teachers communicate well and the weekly updates help keep us informed of the curriculum, especially during difficult COVID times. The programming is diverse and has kept our daughter looking forward to school every day. I highly recommend this preschool for anyone living in the BK area.
I enrolled my son at KSK starting the month that he turned 2 in Fall 2020. He was welcomed immediately by his teachers and the preschool director who are warm, nurturing, positive and enthusiastic. I initially signed up for only 2 days and immediately wished I did more! He is now in the 3s program 5 days/week. The teachers truly meet each kid where they are -- and really get to know them and customize their style for each kid. Though parents could not be physically in the classroom because of COVID (their precautions have been very sensible and put us at ease), the teachers send a newsletter each week recapping the weekly events, along with photos and videos. Additionally, they are available and responsive at any time with any questions or concerns. These newsletters are so thoughtful and detailed -- and have fostered so many meaningful conversations with my son about what he learned. The parents are all engaged and there are (COVID safe) events throughout the year so it truly feels like a community. I can see our kids being friends for a long while. My son's love for learning has absolutely been fostered and he is a more confident, patient, problem-solver because of KSK. I highly recommend this school to anyone.
Our daughter is in the 2s program at Kane Street Kids and absolutely loves it. Her teachers are warm, enthusiastic, thoughtful and experienced. Though parents aren’t able to enter the building this year, the daily photos and weekly newsletters we receive allow us a peak into the classroom. The kids play outside and in the “big room” daily. In addition to planned activities (art projects, sensory activities, etc.) and specialists, the kids seem to have a nice amount of time for free play, which feels very important at this age. We’re part of a wonderful community at Kane Street Kids. Our daughter practically runs to school every morning, she can’t wait to get there. And when she arrives, she’s always met with smiles and excitement. She’s constantly talking about how much she loves her teachers and enjoys playing with her friends.
Kane Street Kids provides a warm, nurturing environment that teaches kids through play. Our toddler loves it and so do we!
I can not speak highly enough of Kane Street Kids. My son fell in love on day one. The staff is loving, professional, friendly , and attentive. My son has fun while learning. 5 stars!
We are having a terrific experience at KSK - our son is enrolled in their 2s program 2 days a week, and loves it. The teachers are immensely kind and sensitive to each child's needs, and made the transition into preschool as smooth as it could be. Our son talks extensively about all the fun activities he does there (i.e. painting, playing with cars and trains, reading books, playing outside, to name a few). Additionally. the administration is kind, attentive and very responsive to all issues related to each child. They were amazing and very accommodating of our son's serious allergy, and were one of the only schools we spoke with that truly put our mind at ease as it relates to our son's allergy. So much so that we have chosen to drive from further away versus going to a school closer to home because of how terrific they are at creating a safe and fun educational environment. We could not speak more highly about all of the people that are part of the KSK community and frequently recommend friends who are looking for preschools in the area.
My son absolutely loves Kane Street Kids. He says he doesn’t want to grow up so he can go there forever. As parents we couldn’t be more impressed with the school. The administration and leadership are very responsive and caring. We have watched our son blossom at Kane Street. He comes home to tell us about how to be a good friend and neighbor. He happily sings in Hebrew and Spanish, and tells us about modern/impressionist painters he learned about in his after school programs!!
