So grateful for Thuy and Thuy 2 (as my daughter refers to them) for a wonderful preschool experience for my little one who came home each day sharing how much fun she had with Teacher Thuy! I felt that my daughter was in safe hands, well taken care of and came back with a very positive experience. We were sad to part ways due to location but recommend this daycare for parents looking for a safe, secure and positive learning environment.

Both of our boys were in Teacher Thuy's care at Smiles Day School in Montclair, and I volunteered at the school often enough to see how she works up close. The Thuy sisters were the most friendly, kind, empathetic, and supportive teachers our boys have had. Plenty of teachers are good when things are easy. Thuy was at her best when things were hard. Our oldest went through a period of severe anxiety at drop off. Thuy helped him through it with patience and empathy you can't fake, and she was just as supportive of us as parents along the way. Our youngest brought a lot of energy and some genuinely challenging, excitable behavior to the classroom. Thuy helped him with that too, firmly and kindly, without ever making him feel like a problem. Both boys felt completely loved by Teacher Thuy, and they knew it. For a parent, that meant the world to us. And i know it extended to other parents - several of the kids with long hair left school with beautiful braids that shows the extra mile they go. She also went beyond the basics, running extra projects like gardening with the kids to support early development. Any family that gets Thuy at Little Einsteins is lucky. We would put our boys in her care again in a heartbeat.

We were so lucky to have both Teacher Thuy and Thuyto as our son’s preschool teachers at Smiles Day School in Montclair, and we couldn’t have asked for better teachers! They were both incredibly caring, patient, attentive, and fun. They were always so warm and enthusiastic, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing our son was in such loving hands. We’re so grateful for all the care and kindness they showed our son and couldn’t recommend them enough. Wishing them all the best and lots of success at Little Einsteins!

As a parent whose child was taught by teacher thuy I cannot recommend her highly enough. My daughter started at two years and quickly bonded to her new teacher and environment. She always came home happy, with lots of stories about what she had been learning, lots of artwork, and very often a beautiful new hair do she’d requested at some point throughout the day. She has learnt so much from teacher Thuy, songs, language skills, eventually letters and numbers, and always had her curiosity encouraged. My daughter became more confident and developed all sorts of new skills under her care. The class was full of all sorts of kids with all sorts of different energy levels, and somehow all their needs seem to have been met, with kindness, good boundaries, and manners. There’s never been any drama or incidents in our two years there and my daughter has forged deep friendships with the other littles in her class, encouraged along by teacher Thuy. Even my baby bonded with teacher Thuy just at drop off and pick ups. She is an amazing educator, who clearly loves working with children and supporting their development.

Both of our children were taught by the Thuy sisters at Smiles Day School, and our children loved them. As parents, we feel fortunate to have had them as such an important part of our children’s early education. They consistently demonstrated kindness, patience, and professionalism, and we always had complete trust and confidence in them as teachers. They made our children feel loved and supported, while also guiding them towards becoming good members of their community. We recommend both of them wholeheartedly and without hesitation!

The owners and caretakers of Little Einsteins Daycare are two sisters who were previously at Smiles Daycare in Montclair Oakland before it closed down (due to retiring owners). Thuy and Thuy are both so loved by our 3 year old. He had the toughest time entering daycare and with Thuy’s help, patience, kind heart and fun disposition, our kiddo eventually loved going to preschool. He very quickly picked up different languages like Chinese, Japanese, Spanish and others counting to 10 and above. He cleans up after himself and shows interest in things he would not have if he had not been under their care. Through preschool, he quickly picked up potty training and has a joy for cooking, gardening and drawing. The caretakers of Einstein have a passion for caring for children and have decades of experience doing so! If you’re considering a daycare for your very little one, rest assured that Thuy and her sister will take care of and teach your child social emotional learning, basic words in languages, and growing curiosity for life, among other things.
