Early childhood educators create stimulating learning environments for two, three, and four-year-olds. The curriculum emphasizes arts, inquiry, exploration, and social development. We have a private rooftop playground with a small vegetable garden, and bright, airy classrooms. All children have weekly art and music class. Families may arrange an 8:00am drop off. ACS and HRA vouchers accepted. ISAAGNY member school.

Medical Center Nursery School has part time and full time openings for 2, 3 and 4 year-olds for the 2026-2027 school year. Children who are enrolled during the year may attend our 7 week summer program, beginning July 6, 2026. ACS & HRA vouchers accepted.

MCNS has been one of the only sources of stability and warmth for our family through all these pandemic years. The quality of care, value system, flexibility and love in this school is unparalleled. Sending our kids there was the best decision we made since 2020. Highly recommend.
We started our daughter at MCNS in the Explorers classroom (3 yo) and loved the program and facility so much we couldn’t imagine sending her anywhere else for pre-K. And though our first will be starting K this fall we have plans to send our second daughter to MCNS beginning with the 2yo program. The caregivers, teachers, and admin staff are truly wonderful humans, starting with the way they speak to and engage with students in such a loving and elevated way. Everyone goes above and beyond: from helping with K applications, to walking us through our child’s development and academic progress. We highly recommend MCNS to any and everyone!
We have had a great experience at MCNS for preK for our son! The teachers and staff are so caring, accessible, and communicative and the small class size is the perfect transition for young ones. The classrooms are very well-resourced to aid in children’s creative play and discovery. We love that there is a lot of outdoor time, open-ended play, music led by Louise (a professional jazz musician who is one of the lead teachers), and also some academic focus on writing and pre-writing skills, phonics, etc. Highly recommend MCNS, a real gem!
We researched a number of programs and are so glad we chose MCNS. We wanted our child’s first school experience to be extremely positive and very child focused. Our (now) 3 year old LOVES school and we can see how he’s changed and grown as a result of his experiences at school. I cannot say enough good things about the program.
