I can’t say enough wonderful things about Ms. Jackie and our experience with her daycare. We sent our daughter to her at around 8 months, and she has thrived under Ms. Jackie’s care since day one. Our girl lights up at drop off, so excited to see Ms. Jackie and the other kids. Ms. Jackie has helped us with each new developmental transition our baby grew into throughout her time there, guiding her with love and care. She is so warm, patient, and kind, and I can’t imagine a better person to trust my little ones with. Thank you, Ms. Jackie!

My family and I are incredibly thankful for the love and care Ms. Jackie provided our daughter. When we unexpectedly needed to find childcare quickly, we toured several programs throughout the Natomas area before discovering Ms. Jackie’s Place, and we are so grateful we did. From the moment we walked in, we felt at ease and comfortable. It was immediately clear how much she genuinely loved and cared for her students. During her time there, our daughter learned and grew tremendously. Ms. Jackie thoughtfully integrates play-based learning throughout the day, and our daughter absolutely loved it. She went on nature walks to collect leaves for Thanksgiving turkey crafts and made gingerbread houses during the winter. Ms. Jackie consistently modeled age-appropriate language and behavior and worked with our daughter every day to build her skills and support her growth and development. I recommend Ms. Jackie and her program without hesitation. As a mother, it was incredibly difficult to find someone I could truly trust to both love and teach my child, and Ms. Jackie exceeded every expectation. We feel so fortunate to have been part of her program!

I cannot say enough good about Ms. Jackie’s place and Ms. Jackie herself. When we went to tour her daycare we had already toured a few and she was the only one to not only acknowledge our son but to hold him and engage with him right off the bat. At 7 months old he let her pick him up and walk him around. We knew right away she was the right fit. Jackie’s not only kind and gentle meeting each child where they’re at, but she also teaches and holds boundaries. She taps into each child’s interests while also introducing them to new things. She allows for play and exploration while also teaching concrete skills like how to use a cup, speaking up when something is wrong, recognizing your name, counting, letters, colors, shapes etc… And most importantly it is very clear that she genuinely loves the children that come through her doors. We were at Ms. Jackie’s for a full year driving 30-40 minutes each way every day just because he loved it there so much. The ONLY reason we left was our distance from her daycare and the extensive commute. All in all- I cannot recommend Ms. Jackie’s place enough.

My daughter starting attending Ms. Jackie’s place in 8/2024, she had just turned 2 years old. I am a first time mom, and this was the first time my child was going to be left with another caregiver. Ms. Jackie made our family feel welcomed from the moment we conducted our tour. Her home/ dedicated space for the kiddos was clean, organized and well thought out for child led play. Ms. Jackie provides daily reports via a bulletin board with details about food, potty and other relevant notes pertaining to your little one. Her care for the kiddos shines bright through her personality of kindness and caring. We are sad to leave Ms. Jackie but would highly recommend to any parent looking for an in-home daycare.

Ms Jackie is absolutely the best, we had our son in a different in-home preschool/day care, and we were disappointed in the number of cartoons and sugary processed food he was given. When we were looking for a new place, we wanted a place that prioritized hands on learning with limited screen time, a variety of healthy food offered for lunch and snacks, and someone who would get to know our son (not treat him as just another kid in their care) and help us with potty training. We found that and much more with Ms Jackie! My son has thrived since going to Ms Jackies’, her hands on approach and wiliness to adapt lessons plans and meals around individual needs is astonishing. Before our first day she asked what foods my son liked and would keep those on hand as his safe foods, but she committed to helping our very picky eater try new foods, he has tried new foods while there that he would have never tried before. Another great example of what I love about Ms Jackie, we all know how 2-3 years can be, very stubborn and temperamental, 1 day as my son is having a melt down and refusing to do something; she waited patiently to see if I needed help and then offered a few suggestions on how to approach that situation and it worked. I loved that she didn’t try to take over but was there to support us parents. She truly cares for all the families that attend her program. I just wish we had found her when my daughter was younger so both my kids could experience such a great and caring environment in their early years.

both of our children spent their young years with Ms. Jackie. She was very loving and caring with our kids, and all of the other littles in her care. She emphasized learning and development, and had a great space for our kids to play and enjoy. Her facility was always clean and well kept. she communicates very well with her parents, always giving us new parents tips and tricks for parenting! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for daycare for their young one(s).

Our child has been enrolled at Ms. Jackie’s daycare since 2023 and we can honestly say that she is an entirely different (and better) person today than she was before she was enrolled. Ms. Jackie has brought out the joy, color, and light in her that she always needed. Before enrolling her into Ms. Jackie’s daycare, she was quiet, reserved, and her speech was a little delayed. Now, she lights up the room, enjoys learning, talking, playing, and she already graduated Ms. Jackie’s preschool program before the age of two. She loves nothing more than to spend the day with Ms. Jackie and the kids at her daycare. One of my favorite parts of the day is when I go to pick her up and peak inside the window to see her crowded around Ms. Jackie and the kids, or her running around laughing hysterically. The excitement in her face is enough to make me want to cry happy tears. Ms. Jackie is simply the best there is when it comes to shaping children into the best versions of themselves.

Ms Jackie is very professional, kind, patient, and friendly teacher. She helped my daughter with potty training, shared a lot of tips with me. Also she helped my daughter and me to learn how to help her with different types of emotions. My daughter within 9 month with Ms Jackie learned counting to 20, the most of ABC, some songs, some Spanish words, forms, colors, and much more. My daughters speaking improved dramatically and she started to try to read. Every day with Ms. Jackie is full of fun for my daughter, but the most important for me that Ms. Jackie is very attentive not only to knowledge of every student but also to their habits and behaviors. She is very patient to them and with parents too. I would emphasize that she keeps kids entertained and at the same time teach them through games and activities. I definitely recommend Ms Jackie to every parent!
