Our Infant Care Program is committed to making the first transition away from home natural and easy for both you and your child.

Toddler Program

Our Toddler Program is specifically tailored to the needs of your busy toddler. We lovingly nurture your child through important early milestones, from “self-help” learning skills such as hand washing and putting away their toys, to socializing and forming first friendships.

Infants

In our Infant program, our teachers are always interacting with the children to encourage their mental and physical development, in addition to holding and cuddling them. Your child will be introduced to our baby sign language program, learn to grasp toys, vocalize sounds, recognize pictures of familiar objects, and acquire a variety of other skills. Teachers work with each child in a series of stimulating activities that incorporate the natural routines of feeding and play. The teacher reinforces the infants’ development without disrupting their daily schedule.

Beginners

The Beginner program, for children ages 2-3, introduces more routine and structure to the children’s activities and schedule. Your child will build vocabulary, learn foundational mathematical skills, and will be encouraged to use simple reasoning to explain everyday occurrences. The concepts of social studies, diversity, and Spanish are introduced as our Beginners examine and explore the world around them.

The Infant Program is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children ages 6 weeks to 18 months. The focus is on supporting each infant’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through individualized care and age-appropriate activities.

Cute Cubbies Preschool Program

The Preschool Program is for children ages 3 years to 5 years old. Encouraging independence and foundational skills, children will learn and practice, reading and writing along with other academics with a goal of reaching fluency before entering their next phase to Kindergarten.

Pooh's Corner

This room provides on demand care with the children letting us know what they need. It provides all the diapers, wipes. We have one caregiver for up to four children. Although it states the room is up to 12 months, we prefer to keep our babies in this class until they are 12 months and walking.

Elmo Room

This class serves children 12 to 24 months. We provide the diapers, wipes, breakfast, lunch, and snacks. We will read stories, go over shapes & colors, and do artwork with the children.

Infant Program

L’Academy provides a loving, nurturing bilingual environment where infants feel secure and thrive. Our teachers support each baby’s milestones and introduce early language through songs, stories, and sign language, building a strong foundation for communication and growth.

Toddler Program

L’Academy’s toddler / 2’s program helps children learn and grow in a safe, nurturing bilingual environment. Our teachers encourage independence, social skills, and early language learning while partnering with families to create flexible routines and support potty training.

Infants

We offer a warm, nurturing and responsive environment for infants which includes a designated sleep area and play space. Infants are at a very sensory age–absorbing information, and learning in all areas of development. Educators co-learn with infants by providing toys, materials and activities to help infants develop skills at their own pace. Our educators are well-versed in infant development and care and work with parents to develop routines and schedules for feeding and rest. With this in mind, the first full-time week for a new infant enrollment is focused on observing, bonding, connecting, and getting to know the child’s learning style, interests and needs.

Toddlers

At this age, toddlers become more independent and we encourage their development with a carefully designed program of activities largely through play. Learning Jungle offers a balanced program that allows children to explore, be engaged and develop fine motor, gross motor and cognitive skills. Educators observe and track developmental progress in all five domains to plan activities for each individual toddler. The toddler environment is set up in a spacious area to accommodate for lots of activity and movement. Educators delight in the opportunity to be silly, sing, dance, read, play, and laugh with toddlers. Outdoor play and exploration are also an important part of a toddler’s day to exercise large muscles and burn off energy.
