Parent Reviews
We have been so impressed with the care that our children receive at Primrose. The teachers and staff truly care about the well-being and development of each child. We love the variety of activities that are offered each day and are often surprised by how much our son has learned. We looked at lots of daycares in the area and couldn't find any that offered facilities, activities, or staff comparable to Primrose. More importantly, our kids love "going to school" and look forward to seeing their friends each day!
The best part about Primrose of Ken Caryl, is that my son loves going there! He loves the interaction and time with his teachers. The teachers really are second to none! When family was in town we picked him up early for a week and he missed the afternoon "centers". After missing afternoon centers for a week, he asked if we could not pick him up early anymore because he really really likes afternoon centers and he doesn't want to miss them anymore! The curriculum is awesome and the teachers are amazing!
It was such a difficult and emotional decision to make when it was time to go back to work after my maternity leave was almost over in December 2009. However, when I spent time with Ms. Alice, Lead Infant Room Teacher, she said something that has stuck with me to this day: "It takes a village to raise a child" and also "Choose a care facility that you feel good about and go with your first impression/instinct". Along with her words of wisdom and the love she showed to the babies in the room, I happily enrolled my first-born to start in the infant room after the New Year 2010. It's hard to believe that my "baby" is going to be 3 years old in a week. When it was time to go back to work after my 2nd baby was born in the Spring of 2011, there was no hesitation that he was going to Primrose with Ms. Alice and Ms. Mary just like his big brother did. The boys have learned so much from their teachers and classmates and really have had a jumpstart in their development and life long learning. Primrose has been a partner with my husband and me in raising our boys. I'm glad the teachers and staff are part of our Village!
My husband and I absolutely LOVE Primrose at Ken Caryl! Our twins are enrolled in Miss Michelle and Miss Missy's class - and we couldn't be happier. My twins are thriving at this school. :) 5 stars!
Teddy is our oldest child. He was two and half years old and not really speaking yet. He was shy and very attached to us. We enrolled him in Primrose for the socialization aspect. After a month at Primrose, we noticed his vocabulary soared and he became more independent. He is always surprising us with the things he has learned in class. Primrose does an excellent job of engaging students with their all-encompassing curriculum.
Both my daughters have been through Primrose. My oldest was well prepared for Kindergarten and my youngest is in pre-k now working towards the same thing. They both have made lasting friendships there and enjoy attending. My youngest Haley has several food allergies and the staff has been very understanding to her dietary needs.
