Parent Reviews
Mona (aka my kids’ 2nd mother) is amazing. We couldn’t be more blessed that our paths crossed 4.5 years ago. She has had both of our children from 3 months onward. She is reliable, rarely has a sick day, rarely last minute closings. My kids have learned so much (academically, emotionally, behaviorally). As a first time mom I didn’t know if an in home provider was the best fit for us and I am a million percent positive it has been THE BEST choice for our family. Literally no complaints. Zero. Mona is amazing.
Ms. Mona has been wonderful for our 3-year-old. Our daughter is always enthusiastic when I ask her if she had fun at Ms. Mona’s, and she even wants to get ready on weekends or snow days to go there. She also brings home cute crafts. I would recommend Ms. Mona to anyone looking for a quality home daycare.
Our family had the privilege of having Mona as our daycare provider for 8 years. I never had ONE complaint with her care. She is reliable(I can only remember her being sick twice). She is transparent and honest. Her daily routine and preschool, prepared my kids so well for school. When the pandemic hit, Mona showed up for our family. Without any hesitation, she stepped into the teacher role. We are forever grateful for the role Mona had in our children’s upbringing. Mona is a valued member of our “village”. There is no one better to leave your children with while you work!
We love our daycare. Our family has been using Mona’s daycare for 9 years. My daughters both love her and she is honestly part of our family. The girls love telling me when they have a good day there and earn a sucker or sticker when they have the best behavior. My littlest daughter likes to sleep in but will get out of bed and ready because it is a daycare day. I have recommended to friends and have the peace of mind when my girls are there as I work.
Mona is quite possibly the warmest person I’ve ever met. When we were looking for daycares we weren’t even considering a home daycare, but we were referred to Mona by a family member. We toured almost every center in our area and Mona was our last stop before decision time. As soon as we met with her, it felt so right. They say it takes a village and for me, a first time mom, Mona was the village. For for 16 months she cared for our little guy like he was her own. She became so much more than a daycare provider, she became family. Mona’s communication is on point, her program is structured but not rigid (which I feel is key for littles), she is very experienced, laid back (but not too much) and just a VERY kind person. I’m a very anxious mom and Mona was a complete dream to work with. My son was a baddd sleeper at daycare- but Mona worked with us and him everyday to get him to improve. We did baby led weaning and Mona was supportive of that every step of the way! We signed and Mona did that too! In May of this year (2022) we had to make the move 2 hours north for my husbands job and while we had always dreamed of getting out of the city, my only reservation on the move was leaving Mona’s. I cried about it A LOT and just thought there was no way we would ever find another provider like Mona. Mona was so amazing even as we were getting ready to transition and helped my son AND me in the process. She even had talks with me about the potential daycares we were looking at and what would work best for my son based on what she had seen. With the transition came some bumps, one day my son bit another kiddo at the new daycare. I texted Mona first and she gave me all the pointers and talked me off the ledge. He’s been bite free since then ;-). Our little guy was pre verbal when we left but he still talks about “oooonaaaa” and “Gus Gus” (Mona’s very sweet pup) all the time. To any parents out there: when you walk into a center to tour it for the first time… listen to your gut. Babies and toddlers need someone to love on them and care for them deeply while you’re away. Mona offers warm arms and a warm heart that you won’t get anywhere else. Let her love your babies and I promise you won’t regret it. We LOVE Mona.
We’ve gone to Mona’s since our daughter was 12 weeks old. She’s been exceptional with both of our kids. Ready for kindergarten! She teaches them exciting they need to know from colors to shapes to days of the week to feeling and so on. She’s also very reasonable and gets “life happens.” We we’re being satisfied with our experience with Mona and would recommend her to anyone!
