Program emphasizes musical education where children are encouraged to dance and sing German and English songs. School often hosts special instructors on topics such as art or dance. Facility includes indoor space with a separate bathroom, as well as an outdoor space. Children learn to participate in chores including putting on a bib and sitting down together at the table and learning to follow a routine such as washing hands before mealtime. Children also participate in indoor and outdoor free play along with occasional field trips.

Our daughter has been attending the Sandmann Family Daycare since she was very young, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. We have been part of the Sandmann family for more than three years. Our oldest son spent two years there and our second son is now completing his first year. Peter and the teachers are just the best, and create the most loving environment for the kids, where my son just goes in and barely looks back to say goodbye. We love that the kids get to spend a lot of time to play outside and enjoy yoga or different tinkering activities inside. We highly recommend Sandmann family daycare, we find it to be a perfect extension of our household for our boys.

My daughter started Sandmann daycare when she was 2,5 years old. And it was amazing! She adapted very quickly and had a great time playing and learning new things. They have a spacious area for kids to play and a big backyard for outside activities. Sandmann’s staff followed a very strict COVID protocol and I always felt safe to send my daughter there. If you are looking for a cosy, play-based and caring daycare - this place is for your kid.
