We are so grateful for Children’s Cottage, especially Lali and Amy, for making Raya’s transition into daycare such a positive experience. We started Raya right around when she turned 2, and as nervous parents we expected a long adjustment period — but thanks to their warmth, patience, and care, her transition was incredibly smooth. Within barely a week or so, she was happily walking in without tears and excited to see her teachers and friends every day. It’s clear how much love and attention they give each child. Raya absolutely adores Lali and Amy, talks about her classmates constantly, and has truly blossomed socially and emotionally since starting here. Seeing how comfortable, happy, and loved she feels gives us so much peace of mind as parents. We couldn’t have asked for a better environment for her early years.

We will forever be grateful to Laly. She took care of our two young children and they absolutely loved her. She is so patient , attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. She went above and beyond to make sure our kids were comfortable and happy. She is also very organized and her home is very clean and offers a separate space for the kids to play , both inside and outside. Our kids loved going there and playing with their friends. They also learned so much and it definitely prepared our daughter for preschool. We were so sad to leave Laly when we moved!

There are not enough words to express how amazing Children’s Cottage has been for our family. Two of my kids attended from 3 months old through 11 years old, and I truly could not have imagined them anywhere else. Lali was incredible — she fully prepared both of them for Kindergarten and gave them such a strong academic foundation before they even started school. I know some people hear “home daycare” and think there’s a stigma attached to it, but this was genuinely the best possible place for my children. She provided excellent care, healthy meals, structure, and an education that I honestly don’t think they would have received at many other daycares in the area. Because it’s smaller, the one-on-one attention she gave each child helped both of mine excel academically before and after entering school. She came highly recommended to me by another mom whose three daughters attended for six years, and now I completely understand why. We are forever grateful for the love, care, and dedication Lali gave our family over the years

We love having our daughter with Laly at The Children’s Cottage. Our daughter started attending at 6 months, and now she’s 23 months and we have loved our time having her in daycare here! Laly feels like family to us with the love and care she shows our daughter. Laly gives us individual updates on our daughter when we ask, and helps us to parent better by aligning with us on our daughter’s needs. And not only does she care, she has helped our daughter tremendously with hitting her development milestones. We are tremendously proud of her ability to say words, identify emotions, and show the early stages of creativity. We are so satisfied here that when we found out we were expecting a second daughter, we immediately enrolled her as well. We would recommend Laly and The Children’s Cottage to any parents of littles.

I feel so lucky we found the Children's Cottage; I highly recommend! My son has been going since he was 5 1/2 months old and it was obvious within his first week that he was excited to be dropped off (what a relief as a new parent!). Now when I pick him up, he is laughing every day. Ligia (aka Laly), the owner, is very warm and caring with the children, and also makes sure my son is learning important social and developmental skills. Communication with parents is great; she'll give me important updates, is very helpful answering any questions I have, and receptive if I have any requests. The rooms are filled with tons of quality toys, and the outdoor area (including a large shaded patio), also filled with toys and play structures, is a favorite spot when the weather is nice. Everything is kept very clean! She prepares breakfast and lunch for the kids every day, always homemade. It's a relief to know my son is getting good food and I don't have to worry about preparing a few meals!

My first child attended The Children's Cottage and I would recommend this place to everyone. We have so many memories from our time there. Ligia is a parent's dream. Everything she did was like leaving our baby at Grandma's house. From the homemade food to the care she put into our child. We absolutely loved the Parent Night Out Events and the easy location for drop off and pick up. As a teacher at a nearby school, I would often stop by on my lunch or just listen to the kids play and laugh outside. Our family was so sad when we moved away and couldn't take Ligia with us.

I have know Laly for over 25 years. She has had all of my kids in her daycare from 2 months old until school age. I can’t say enough about how amazing Laly is and how much her home became my kids second home. Laly is caring, comforting and loving and always treated the kids with the most care. Her daycare program is positive, encouraging and educational and all my kids were ready for kindergarten when they left. We even kept the kids there after we moved out of town, knowing the kids were in the best hands.

We have had our two young children at The Children’s Cottage for the past year and a half or so, and our whole family loves it! Our daughter has learned so much and loves all of the art and learning activities that Laly has for them daily. Laly and Sandra are so sweet and nurturing towards the kids, and it’s obvious that they love what they do. Laly (the owner) has been so wonderful since the start of the pandemic and has made sure that she follows all of the latest guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety. She is great at communicating changes or additions to the current health and safety protocols in a timely manner. We are so grateful to have The Children’s Cottage!
