Parent Reviews
I cannot say enough good things about Santa Monica Nursery School. Our daughter attended from age 6 months until almost 2.5. The facility is very clean and well organized and each day we are given a report of diapers changed and nap time. They even helped get her on a great sleep schedule when we were between nap schedules. As non Spanish speakers, we have been so impressed by how much our daughter has learned in English and Spanish in the almost 2 years she's attended. She's also been able to flourish in her creativity as the school exposes the children to many different activities. But most important to us has been the care that Cecilia, Maricela, and Isabel have provided our daughter. She has been so incredibly loved by all 3 and we are truly going to miss them. We would definitely recommend Santa Monica Nursery School and we're so grateful to have found such a wonderful environment for our child!
Cecelia was kind and inviting. Her nursery is very clean and organized. She has a small group of kids and I liked that she specializes in infant care. My baby was only 3 months when he started at SMNS. The team bottle trained him and got him on a great sleep schedule.
We are so grateful to have our toddler at Santa Monica Nursery School. We were nervous going from an in home nanny to a school setting but Cecilia (Director) made it easy for our son to transition and acclimate. He is so loved by the staff (the teachers are so welcoming) and I’m still shocked that he doesn’t cry at drop off. The Spanish immersion environment is incredible- at week 2 he was saying “agua” and by week three he was saying “más”. Our older kids will attend Edison (Spanish immersion school) and we don’t speak Spanish at home so this has given us a lot of peace of mind. We definitely recommend the Santa Monica Nursery School!
My daughter has been going to Santa Monica nursery for about 6 months now. As a first time mom I was super obsessive and very particular about where I wanted to take my baby. After extensive research I came across Santa Monica nursery I knew this was the one for us. The director Cecilia is the heart of Santa Monica Nursery she’s a great care taker, very sweet and accommodating. My daughter loves her and I feel super comfortable leaving her in their care daily. Needless to say, her two assistants (Isabel and Maricela) work extremely hard to give the kids the best experience possible they put so much time, thought and effort into the curriculum. I can’t thank them enough for putting us at ease everyday that our daughter is in your care. All the love to this nursery.
I have had the pleasure of entrusting my precious little one to the warm and nurturing embrace of Cicilia’s Day care, a Spanish-influenced haven that has exceeded my expectations in every way. The ambiance of the daycare is simply enchanting, with colorful décor and a lively atmosphere that immediately captures the attention of curious toddlers. The incorporation of Spanish influences is not just a theme but a lived experience that enriches the daily activities and interactions. It's evident that the staff at the daycare, especially Isabella and Marisella are passionate about creating a culturally immersive environment for our little ones. The dedication and love that the caregivers pour into their work are truly commendable. They go above and beyond to ensure that each child feels secure, valued, and stimulated in their developmental journey. The daily routines are thoughtfully structured, offering a perfect blend of play, learning, and rest. The introduction of Spanish language elements into songs, stories, and activities has not only broadened my child's linguistic exposure but has also sparked a genuine interest in exploring diverse cultures. It's not just about ensuring the physical well-being of the toddlers, but also nurturing their creativity, emotional intelligence, and social skills. The genuine care, cultural richness, and commitment to early childhood development make this daycare stand out as a gem in the realm of toddler care. if you're searching for a daycare that seamlessly combines Spanish influences with top-notch care and education for your toddler, look no further. I am grateful for the positive impact they've had on my child's formative years and wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional daycare to fellow parents which creates a warm family friendly environment and has a very positive influence on the Toddlers and children's.
Our daughter has been going here for a while now and we love it! They teach the kids in Spanish, read lots of books, and a lot of one on one time with the teachers. If your looking for a place for your kids I highly recommend this place!
My 15 month old son has been attending Santa Monica Nursery school for 3 months and pretty quickly after his first week it was clear he was very comfortable going, which made me feel confident that he feels safe and cared for. It is a very calm environment for him and I love that they have such a great routine and schedule. The drop offs and pick ups are easy for us and they write down everything from changed diapers to nap times and when they ate so you can keep track of that if it is important to you. I'd recommend checking out this homedaycare if you are looking for a friendly and safe home for your child.
