Empower Me has a positive environment with teachers who care. My son is happy and clearly feels connected to staff, mentioning their names at home and mimicking "school" and teachers in a positive light. Additionally, teachers communicate on the daily about your child and are willing to work with you and your child's needs.
My son started at the Arden location when it opened and we have been vary happy with the teachers and program provided. My son enjoys school and the other kids, which him being home a lot due to the pandemic they have really worked with him and making him comfortable and ready to learn.
Single mom strong has such an amazing program , my son is a little over 2 years old and it is his first time starting a school setting program, I was super nervous about my son starting preschool because I didn’t know how he was going to adapt to not being with me as much anymore during the day. But when I found single mom strong and took a tour I just knew that this would be a great school for him to start at . They are all so loving and patient! They are awesome teachers my son is starting to develop words and is getting better communicating what he wants, they are always open which is so rare to find and so grateful that they take the parents into consideration on making the hours so flexible! The teachers are the sweetest and they have awesome volunteers that come and help with the kids as well ! I appreciate single mom strong so much and Kara and her team are just remarkable!!! I would recommend this 100% to all my friends and family !!!
First of all, let me start this review by stating I worked in child development for almost 5 years and I had high standards for the environment that my kids spend any time in. I reached out to EmpowerME after my son spent 5 months home with me while I worked remotely. He had previously attended a local Montessori program which started off great but ended pretty badly and I was rightfully traumatized. Upon my very first contact with EmpowerME, I knew this experience would be different. I toured the center with Ms. Kim who ended up being my son’s primary teacher. The entire building is filled with love. It’s palpable; you can genuinely tell the teachers love what they do. My son was welcomed immediately and aside from those first day jitters he loves his school. He comes home daily telling me about all the fun he had, his friends he played with and what he has learned. Most important to me, he tells me Ms. Kim is his best friend. I’m truly grateful for Single Moms Strong EmpowerME preschool. My son has been developing so wonderfully and I’m so happy to see his growth everyday.
