Finding the right childcare is one of the most important things you can do for your child, which is why I am grateful to have found Smiley Kids daycare. As a first-time parent, of course I was worried about leaving my then four-month-old in someone else's care. As I cried the first day of leaving my son, Bulgan, the program director, assured me that everything would be okay. She sent updates throughout the day about his well-being and adjustment, which truly did assure me that I had nothing to worry about. There were no tears shed the following day. I can't say enough great things about Bulgan and her team, and the program. I've watched my son learn new communication, fine motor control, and reading skills, among others. Bulgan works hard to ensure growth in her little ones and cultivate a positive learning environment. The children read books, sing songs, dance, play music, learn the alphabet, and basically are allowed to be kids! They also eat organic foods, which is amazing. Bulgan genuinely cares about her little ones in her care and wants them to reach their highest potential. She is encouraging, supportive, and understanding of, not just your child, but of the parents as well. I am grateful to have found Smiley Kids, and I know my son is thriving because of Bulgan and her team.

We feel so lucky to have found Bulgan (Buugii) and Smiley Kids Daycare! As a first-time parents, I was incredibly nervous about sending my baby to daycare, but Buugii eased all of my worries from day one. She is warm, caring, communicative, and genuinely loves the children she cares for. Every morning, our daughter is excited to go see Buugii and her friends there, and the daily updates and photos give us so much assurance that she is happy and thriving. The children enjoy fun, age-appropriate activities, rotating toys, special holiday crafts, birthday celebrations, and delicious homemade meals. Our daughter constantly surprises us with new things she has learned—so many new songs, games, using her fingers to count, and counting up to 20! Now that our daughter is 2.5 and talking, the most special part has been hearing firsthand the kindness Buugii shows her. Sometimes she’ll says things I know she didn't learn from us, and when I ask where she heard them, she'll proudly say, "Buugii says that." Phrases like, "If you need help, just tell me, okay?" or if I ask her to help with something, "Of course, I'd love to help." She'll even ask, "How are you doing today, Mommy?" It's clear that beyond numbers and songs, Buugii teaches empathy, kindness, and care for others. Lastly, an unexpected perk has been the playground right across the street from Smiley Kids in GG park. We’ve been going there most days after pick up and have created a really special community with some of the other parents. After almost two years with Buugii, I can honestly say choosing Smiley Kids was one of the best parenting decisions we've made. We're sad to be moving on to preschool soon, but we can't wait to send our second daughter when the time comes!

If you’re considering Smiley Kids as a potential daycare for your little one, look no further! Bulgan (who we affectionately call Buugii) and her team are truly angels on earth. We started our daughter Lou there at 10 months and are leaving extremely bittersweet as we transition to preschool. The growth and development we’ve seen in a little over a year has blown us away. Communication, play (communal and independent) and developmental milestones have greatly evolved under Buugii’s care. Every day, we left drop-off feeling confident that Lou was safe and in the best hands. SO many positives: daily home-cooked meals (my daughter went in eating very few solids to now LOVING all kinds of food), cribs for nap time, walks to golden gate park, daily text updates with pictures (something I looked forward to every day!), bilingual learning, clear and honest communication with Buugii, support and guidance during developmental transitions like nap or bottle schedules, the most adorable holiday / birthday celebrations, I could go on and on. Above all of this praise, the absolute best thing we’re taking from our time at Smiley Kids is the sheer love Lou has for Buugii - and vice versa. Among the many words and phrases our daughter learned through Buugii was ‘I love you’. Every day when we said goodbye at pickup time, Lou would look up to Buugii to tell her she loves her, signing a heart with her hands. This perfectly captures the type of care kids (and parents!) experience at Smiley Kids. A safe, educational, and positive environment, overflowing with love. Buugii, we are forever indebted to you for all the love and care and growth you poured into our girl. We love you!

We love Smiley Kids Daycare! Bulgan and her team are warm, communicative, and nurturing. Our baby girl is happy to see Bulgan every morning at drop off, and we are lucky to get a smiley mid-day photo and activity update via text. Bulgan makes home-made yogurt, soups, and serves fresh fruits and vegetables to the kids, which I am so grateful for — it takes a lot of pressure off us at home during the week to ensure our baby is introduced to many tasty, healthy foods from an early age. Bulgan is very loving and she keeps our baby happy & healthy — nothing more we could ask for!

Smiley Kids and is absolutely fantastic. I could not possibly recommend it any more fervently. Our daughter started there a year ago, at around 4 months old. The operator Bulgan and her team are caring, helpful, communicative, and really play a big part in the kids developing. They make great meals for the kids, do all sorts of art projects, and really get into the various holidays. We would almost have a third kid just so they could go to Smiley (OK not really)!

I cannot speak highly enough of Bulgan and Smiley Kids. We sent both of our boys here. They were treated like family and the love that they received was evident in their smiles and emotions when coming and going each day. Bulgan truly cares deeply about all of the children. They played, learned, and made little friends along the way. I am honestly going to miss having my boys be with Bulgan as they have both moved on to preschool. It was a special part of our lives that we’ll always remember fondly.
