We loves our experience with SOMA daycare, and more importantly, our daughter does it too. She is so happy when she arrives at the daycare every morning and cannot wait to start her day here. It's also amazing to see how much she have learned from here. Many things makes SOMA daycare so unique: - The teachers here put so much love and thoughts in children, especially the owner Ngoc. The kids loves to play with her and listen to her in circle times. The activities they design every week are fun and stimulating. - The low child to teacher ratio really creates a very nurturing environment and builds close bonds among the kids and the teachers. - The daycare kids have at least one daily trip to preschool and do outdoor play there with elder kids together. The playground is large and full of things to explore. They often change or add new toys/installment based on the weekly theme so the kids will never get bored. They also offer special activities, such as soccer, music, cooking classes every week. - We also love the photo and activities updates everyday from brightwheel app and accessible dropcam. We can't ask for more and would highly recommend SOMA daycare to any parents.

There aren't enough superlatives to describe Soma Daycare and Preschool! From the application process, to the initial tour, to the day to day activities and seasonal events, this daycare/preschool is first class! It starts at the top with Ngoc, the owner, and trickles down to every teacher, Kelly, Puja, and Michelle. Ngoc is the sweetest, kindest person you'd ever want your kids to know. She's like a surrogate parent to my 2 y.o. son. You can tell she puts maximum/over the top, effort and heart into everything she does (which is all child-centered). She was willing to speak a second language to my son (Vietnamese-his heritage) and the student/teacher ratio are the lowest in SF, so your child gets TLC. The reason we initially chose it was due to the proximity to where we live in SoMa. But if I would have know how much my son loves it here, I would have traveled far and wide and paid even more to have him attend here. They use a very innovative app called brightwheel that organizes check-in and updates you incessantly on how your child is doing, down to each bowel movement. The facilities are fun, spacious with plenty of outdoor space, spotless and Ngoc is adamant regarding safety, health concerns and infectious diseases prevention in the school. I should know, I'm a board certified physician. I highly recommend SoMa daycare and preschool and feel grateful to have my son spend his days here and have his early childhood development shaped by these wonderful people.

We love SOMA daycare and more importantly so does our daughter! She says the teachers are so nice and they always pay attention to her. The class ratio is really good so each student gets the attention they deserve. SOMA is a nut free facility and the meals they serve are all organic. The activities are engaging and really do help the little ones learn and prepare for school. The building itself is set safely away from the street and there is a security camera where you can only enter by getting buzzed in. The staff is very friendly and professional. We get updates and photos throughout the day so we know what’s going on. We highly recommmend SOMA to anyone looking for quality care for their little ones!

We love this place for our daughter! The facilities are very clean and the staff is very caring. The building itself is secured away from the street and you have to be let in. The meals are healthy (peanut free facility) and thoughtfully prepared. The ratio from teacher to student is great and they make sure all your child’s needs are met. They send you updates throughout the day so you always know what’s going on. SOMA is very accommodating to every child’s unique needs, you will definitely feel cared for and trust that your child is in good hands! Love Soma!

We adore SOMA Daycare & Preschool! Our 2 year old has really thrived since starting and runs in the door with joy upon arrival. We love the personalized attention, huge outdoor play area, great classroom (and so clean!), and constant check-ins during the day. The real stars are the teachers and administration, who are so invested in helping our littles develop and learn. We are very grateful to have our child at this wonderful school.
