Sunset Scholars has been fantastic for our child! She gets excited everyday to "go to Andy's" and even asks on the weekend if it is "an Andy day." Andy is a fantastic owner and teacher. The daily activities have so much intention and thought. The activities are engaging and developmentally appropriate , and its fun to get the daily updates and photos. The outdoor space is exceptional, its hard to find such a big finished yard in the city. The Sunset Scholar's outdoor space has so many activities, toys, and room to run around. Our daughter especially loved gardening and the plants. The teachers at Sunset Scholars are so patient and kind, which is so important during big milestones like potty training. We were in the home stretch of potty training and the teachers were so patient and these big transitions (and the occasional potty mishaps along the way). They really helped us cross the finish line on potty training! With the small student-teacher ratio, there is so much individual care and attention. The teachers knew and understood my daughter's personality. Andy would never rush her during drop off or pick up when she was doing silly, goofy things. The level of individual attention and opportunities to grow and thrive have made the Sunset Scholars so special. This school has felt like family and has been an important part of our daughter's childhood. We feel lucky to have found this place.

We’ve had a really great experience with Sunset Scholars. We actually knew Teacher Andy from a previous in-home daycare our older daughter attended, so it meant a lot to be able to continue with him here. Now our 2.5 year old is enrolled and genuinely loves going. There are days she doesn’t want to leave at pickup, which says a lot. She’s really comfortable there. She’ll point to pictures and say her friends’ names, and her vocabulary has been growing so quickly since starting, which has been really fun to watch. Teacher Andy is very thoughtful with the kids. You can tell there’s intention behind the activities, and we appreciate the care that goes into meals and snacks too. The ratios feel great and the environment is calm, clean, and well run. Overall, it’s just been a place we feel good about sending our child to every day. If you’re considering it, we’d definitely recommend taking a look!

Our 2 year old started at Sunset scholars at the beginning of the year and he loves it! He goes to school every day with a smile, talks about his friends and teachers all the time, and has already learned so much. Teacher Andy provides wholesome meals/snacks and plans such thoughtful activities each day. I look forward to getting daily pictures and updates in the app. The hours are great and the facility is brand new, well appointed and has a beautiful outdoor space. We're so lucky to have Sunset Scholars in our lives.
