Sunshine House Preschool has been an amazing experience for our family! We've seen tremendous growth in our two children, and they've made wonderful friendships along the way. The staff is warm, caring, and truly dedicated to the kids. The activities are always fun and engaging, keeping our children excited to go every day. Highly recommend this school to any family looking for a nurturing environment for their little ones!

Sunshine House is the best. All the teachers know us by name and take great care of our kids. We had nothing but a positive experience with our eldest son being cared for and prepared for Kinder. They helped with potty training too! It was a no brainer for us to enroll his younger brother when the time came. Their waitlist fills up quick but call them regularly to inquire anyways about any potential cancellations and openings!

Sunshine House has been an incredible place for our children to grow and learn. The teachers are so kind, patient, and nurturing—our kids truly feel loved and supported every day. It’s a safe, welcoming environment where children are encouraged to explore, build independence (like washing hands and putting on shoes), and develop social and academic skills at their own pace. Sunshine House is a great preschool that I highly recommend for your family.

Sending our children to Sunshine House Preschool has been the best decision we’ve made to support their early education. Our older son attended Sunshine House and is now thriving in kindergarten. His teacher has told us that he is meeting and even exceeding developmental milestones—he can count to 100, do simple math, and write almost all upper and lower case letters! We credit so much of his success, both academically and socially, to the strong foundation he received at Sunshine House. Our younger son still attends and is thriving as well. The teachers are incredibly kind and patient with the kids, which has given us so much comfort. The mix of one-on-one teaching and small group instruction allows each child to learn at their own pace. They also have an amazing outdoor play space where kids can explore and be active. Not to mention, they are instrumental in navigating the potty training journey! I truly appreciate the nurturing environment and the individualized attention my kids have received here. I highly recommend Sunshine House Preschool to any parent looking for a caring and supportive place for their children to grow and learn.

Sunshine house has been amazing! Both my children are attending. As a teacher myself , I know how important the people are who work with our young children. I value the teachers at sunshine house. They are always upbeat, energetic, kind and look like they genuinely love their job! Sunshine house is on the high of our budget for child care but it’s been so worth it to know my children are learning amazing things and cared for!

Sunshine House has been such a blessing to our family. The teachers are incredibly kind, caring and thoughtful. My child feels cared for, loved and respected every single day that she is there. The staff has worked with her to overcome potty training, work on her delayed speech and go above and beyond to make a difference. As a parent, choosing a school can be a hard decision. But after my friends encouraged me to give them a shot, I'm eternally grateful that we did. I have, and will continue to refer Sunshine House to all of my friends and family. We are on our way out to attend TK and are so very sad we won't get to see these wonderful educators every day. Thank you, Sunshine ouse for making such a difference in our lives!

Our daughter Chelsea has been going to Sunshine house for almost a year now. She loves the teachers, staff and her classmates. She came home everyday with love and new things that she learned at Sunshine house. What I love most about Sunshine house as a parent is how they value feedback and engage parents for activities such as family breakfast, pizza night etc. I would highly recommend Sunshine House who is looking for pre-schools.

Our daughter absolutely loves Sunshine House and we love it too. She has attended since she was 2.5 yrs old. We had an opportunity to start TK last year because her of her late birthday but we just couldn’t do it. I’m so glad we didn’t. When she started she wasn’t potty trained and Sunshine House helped with training. She comes home singing songs that she learns and brings home art everyday. She’s learned so much this year and comes home everyday telling us what she did and she’s doing great at writing her name. We are so grateful for Sunshine House. Thank you so much to the staff and teachers at Sunshine House. We highly recommend Sunshine House!!

My son has been attending Sunshine house for a few months and switching to Sunshine House was the best decision we have made for our son. The teachers at Sunshine House make my son feel accepted, loved and welcomed from the very first day. He's always excited to go in the mornings which is a testament to the warm and welcoming environment the teachers have created. What I love about Sunshine House is that the teachers are always encouraging and re-assuring instead of condemning and talking down to him which we have experienced in the past. The teachers always have something positive to say about him at pick-up and it makes me feel like my son is cared for and safe at this daycare. He loves the outdoor play area and loves to door art in doors. I also feel like his speech has improved significantly since starting at Sunshine House. Another thing I really appreciate about this daycare is that they alot of fun really fun spirit days such as PJ day, breakfast with family, crazy hair day etc. I have already recommended Sunshine House to friends and others who are looking for a fantastic daycare for their toddlers.

My kid currently attends Sunshine House. She loves it so much! Every morning, we are greeted by smiling faces from the staff. Additionally, my kid is greeted by her peers with enthusiasm, partly because of the environment the staff have created. My child loves the outdoor play areas. You can always find her outside. They also do a mid year and annual evaluation on skills so you can see how much she’s grown- it’s very interesting!

My son started attending Sunshine House (Martinez) when he was 2 years old and has been attending for over a year now. As a "pandemic baby", he had a lot of separation anxiety and cried for several days when he first started preschool. The teachers at Sunshine house were incredibly caring and attentive in helping him adjust to his new routine! They have done a phenomenal job since then, building his independence, self-confidence and social skills (they heavily focus on empathy and good communication). The teachers' attention to handling emotions and teaching the kids to make friends & interact with each other in appropriate ways has been invaluable. The teachers always keep parents posted on how their child is doing in all developmental domains. They even help with potty training!! The kids at Sunshine House are clearly very happy on a daily basis, as they have plenty of structured activities yet also get enough free play time to be creative and explore. The school also hosts fun activities on holidays, family breakfasts, and pizza nights for the kids. Sunshine house is an excellent place overall for toddlers, and we are very grateful to have found them!

Sunshine House...A place that has been a blessing for all of our kids (3 of them). We started our journey with Sunshine House 7 years ago. Sunshine House staff have all been so lovely with each of our kids. With each of our kids, the staff have guided, and worked with, us to make sure that they have been receiving the best experience possible each day. The academic program at Sunshine has made it so that both of our sons were prepared for Kindergarten both times. Not only do they work on academic pieces (Handwriting as an example) but also other aspects of a school day: transitions, following directions, social moments, outside play time and more. Our daughter is there now and again, we are so Thankful that Sunshine House is in our lives. We know that she will be well prepared for TK (Transitional Kindergarten) next year.

Our family is so grateful for Sunshine House Martinez. My son attended for 2 years and now my daughter (3) attends. The way the day is structured seems to be the perfect balance between having some routine and safe boundaries, but also allowing plenty of time for free play and letting the little ones' own instincts and desires flourish. My son (now in Kindergarten) loves when he is able to tag along to drop off or pick up because he misses all the friendly teachers. My favorite thing is when I get a hearfelt letter written from one of the teachers because they noticed something memorable that my child did and they want to share. I choke up with tears of joy when I read those!

My daughter has been attending Sunshine House for 2 years now and my son, 2, for the past 6 weeks. Adjusting to a new routine and a new environment can be challenging for a toddler. The teachers at Sunshine House go above and beyond to welcome new children and make them feel safe and comfortable during the adjustment period. My son cried the first few weeks during drop off and now is excited to go to school and walk out the door with his lunch. I attribute this to the extra care from the teaching staff. My 4-year-old absolutely loves going to Sunshine House and has made several great friends over the years. I really enjoy reading her assessments and notes from the teachers on her progress or special interactions that happened throughout the day. Lastly, each day has a theme making it really fun for the kids to dress up and do fun activities to be more engaged in the learning process. I can't say enough good things about Sunshine House.

This review is long overdue for us. My eldest, who is going to be 6 this year started at Sunshine House when he was 2 and my younger son who is 4 is currently at Sunshine house. We loved Sunshine house right when we walked through the door. Each classroom has a different theme and purpose for each age group, and it shows. My son currently loves playing in the "dress up" room and doing his work in the "pre-k" room. I love that many of the teachers that are there have been there since my eldest started in 2018, and some like Ms. Trish and Ms. Ana (director) have been there over a decade! They email weekly themes, have different "tastings" for the kids to try, write notes on fun things the kids have done or new friends they have made, offer monthly pizza nights where the kids can stay for dinner so the parents can go out, and do yearly assessment on how our child is progressing in different areas to be ready for kindergarten. The fact that my son gets upset when I pick him up even 30min early should say something. Thank you, Sunshine House staff, for being so caring and loving to our boys!

We absolutely LOVE Sunshine House!! My son was at a wonderful in-home daycare from the time he was 6 months old. To say we were attached to our daycare provider is an understatement. We thought about looking at preschools when he was 3, and then the pandemic hit and we had too much anxiety to leave our bubble and our daycare family. A year later it was clear that he needed more structure and to be around more kids his age. I looked into a few different schools, but after meeting with Ms. Ana and touring Sunshine House, I knew this was the place for us. My son has been there for a little less than a year and he is thriving!! All of the teachers are wonderful, there is so much space for the kids to play and learn, and my son actually cries sometimes when I pick him up because he doesn't want to leave. I feel very fortunate to be a part of the Sunshine House family and will be excited for my daughter to attend when she turns two in the spring.

My daughter started Sunshine School over a year ago after a not so great experience coming from another home school establishment. They were very patient and kind with her. All of the teachers there are attentive. My daughter loves circle time and comes home and re-enacts circle time with me! I am so happy I found Sunshine House and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun and safe environment for your child to learn and grow!

Our two-year-old has attended sunshine house since April 2021. From day one he had a great experience at Sunshine House Martinez. The instructora are very responsive to him and communicative to us, and he has the best time playing with his friends and learning new things. The amount of songs he has hummed since starting school has been a joy to listen to. Sunshine House has taken every care during the pandemic always supplying the kids with what they need while still providing a first rate education. We couldn't be happier.

Our children really enjoy Sunshine house, are learning a lot, and have growing circles of friends. We enrolled our son there several years ago and he looks forward to going even now, and often talks about the things he has learned. The school has a wide range of activities indoors and out, and more recently our daughter has joined and our son has been showing her the ropes. The teachers clearly care for the kids and build good relationships .

Sunshine House is an absolute blessing!!! We have two children at the school and both started when they just turned two years old. Upon arriving to the school you can see the difference in the atmosphere compared to any other child care facility. The kids LOVE the large spacious backyard/playground and see it as their second home. The teachers are all so kind and sweet, and the lessons, songs, and art time they have organized each day is so perfect to keep them engaged and learning something new every day. I cannot recommend this school enough!!!

To say we LOVE Sunshine House Martinez is an understatement!! We are so glad we found this GEM of a school. Their Program and Teachers are all way above excellent. Our daughter has flourished since starting when she was 2 years old. Her growth and development have not only been a tremendous achievement academically but also it has been wonderful watching all the social/emotional relationships she has made with each and every Techer she has encountered as well as all the wonderful Friends and Parents we have met along the way. We are sad to be leaving this August to start Kindergarten BUT we know that our daughter far succeeds her readiness and we couldn't thank Sunshine House Martinez enough!! ❤❤ So if you are looking for a safe, educational, and fun environment for your little ones, then look no further! Sunshine House Martinez has been ABSOLUTELY wonderful to my family and I. My daughter has thrived so much in her preK group. As a parent you always worry that last year of preschool if your child will be kindergarten ready. Sunshine house teachers are very consistent with answering questions , letting me know what I can work on at home, and having evaluations that are very helpful. My daughter started Sunshine House having a hard time with letters And numbers and now not only can she recognize letters but she’s also recognizing letter sounds and writing parts of her name !!!! Thank you all for your hard work it’s been a lot of worldly changes and I appreciate everyone providing some normalcy in our lives. Hugs from the Victoria’s ❤️
