Staff has cross- and multi-disciplinary approaches to early education and often collaborate to provide learning opportunities that are appropriate and engaging for all of the program's students.

Sunshine Preschool is a dream! My son has gone there for 8-months and has made incredible strides in speech, empathy and socialization. The campus is diverse and integrated, the classrooms fun, clean and comfortable; and the teachers are AMAZING. The play-based curriculum is perfect for my son and he ends every day with a huge smile and a "I had so much fun at preschool today, momma!"
We love Sunshine! The teachers are patient and lovely, the community of parents is great, and my son is always happy to go go school. It's play-based, so he gets tons of time to have fun and learn from his peers. Working with Sunshine staff as we considered the school was a dream, and they've continued to be very amenable to changes in schedule, etc. I was nervous searching for a preschool in competitive Berkeley, but it was a great experience.
Our son attended both Sunshine and the pre-K class at CEID. Teachers Kim and Jessica were absolutely incredible; so loving, full of energy, and so good with the children. He really blossomed there and we adore the program. Would recommend it to anyone!
Our son goes here for pre-K and we absolutely love it. Many of the staff have been there 10+ years and the level of attention and care shown by the teachers is amazing. They have a really unique program where both hearing and deaf/HH children can play and learn together in an environment that supports communication of all kinds.
