Sylvan has been a tremendous help for our daughter's reading skills. She went from being in the 9th percentile on her reading scores in the beginning of 3rd grade to the 73rd percentile by the end of the third quarter!
We love this specific Sylvan, the Sylvan of Leesburg. The director, Sherry, is professional, organized, detail oriented and is really wonderful with all of the kids who attend. (He will say hello to each of them by name and is always upbeat which sets a great tone). Our child started going here in 4th grade. Not only did it help him gain confidence and understand much more in language arts, but he genuinely enjoyed coming here each week. That is HUGE for me as a parent. His really liked his two teachers and leaves happy each time. We drive by dozens and dozens of other tutoring places to get here, but it is well worth the 35 minute drive. I would recommend it to anyone, at any grade. Thank you for creating such a great and positive place.
We've been bringing our daughter to Sylvan for a couple of years now, and it's been such a helpful support system, especially in math and English. I really appreciate how they helped her stay ahead during the summer, which made back-to-school transitions a lot smoother. The tutors are kind, patient, and really seem to care. I love that she gets consistent help in a calm environment, and it's given her a little more confidence with her schoolwork. Super thankful for everything Sylvan has done to support her along the way!
