The most beautiful nursery school. Beautiful feeling, location and teachers. Miss Keiko brings 20 years of experience. She is always willing to talk to parents and is so very kind to the children. Her “graduates” come back year after year for summer camp and festivals. She holds the children with such love and gives so very much in the way of teaching them how to love one another, eat meals with each other, share, talk, be. She hosts a halloween celebration replete with costumes and homemade treats, hosts cooking classes for preschoolers (!), teaches in both Japanese AND English, has training in how to teach mathematics in a waldorf way (which she shares with the children by counting as during transitions). She is just wonderful. My son, who started with her at 2.5 and is now 4.5, has thrived with her and loves going. He has friendships that have been cultivated for years and a safe and loving community around him that he can call his own, now. It’s just wonderful. It’s media free and moves around the seasons. Very important for us.

I cannot say enough positive things about Ms. Keiko. Her energy is perfect. She is firm, yet loving and so matter-of-fact when dealing with issues that come up. I love the rhythm of the day. There is plenty of outdoor time along with important Waldorf traditions such as songs and puppet shows. The focus is truly on developing the whole child. So many schools have adopted this mantra, but I rarely see that it is truly being practiced. At Treasure Garden you can rest assured that your child really is receiving the well-rounded care that you are looking for. Oh, and you don't have to worry about her filling your child up with junk food!

Ms. Keiko and Ms. Tammy are excellent teachers. My child has been going to treasure garden since last year,, and we are very happy with the program. Since, this year regular school is online we will continue to send our child to treasure garden. I love that Ms. Keiko keeps classes small, and now at the time of Covid-19 she and Ms. Tammy are taking all the precautions necessary to keep our little one safe. Also, Ms. Keiko is very flexible and able to work with when we needed extra hours of care. Therefore, I will 100% recommend Treasure Garden.
