We cannot recommend Fafa and Simo enough! They have been absolutely amazing, and our daughter Luna loved going there every single day. From the very beginning, they treated us like family, and we always felt that Luna was safe, loved, and truly cared for. The daycare provides great homemade food, wonderful outdoor activities, and such a warm and positive environment for children to grow and learn. Luna learned so much during her time there — the alphabet, colors, shapes, songs, art, and so many other things that helped her development. You can truly see how much love, patience, and dedication they put into every child. We are beyond grateful for everything they have done for our family and will always cherish the memories. Thank you for being such an important part for our family!

My daughter went here from 13 months to 25 months and I wouldn’t have left besides we moved 5 hours away. She went full time 5 days a week. Fafa and Simo are absolutely wonderful! They are everything you want - great routines, genuinely have fun with the kids, allow them to play, teach them skills/words, and take them to music classes/museums, etc. My daughter loved going everyday - their home felt welcoming and she loved seeing them and the other kids. They absolutely became part of our life and I can’t recommend them enough. If you have the chance while they have an opening SNAG IT ASAP! Your child is in the best hands and I’m so sad we couldn’t stay with them even longer. We love you Fafa and Simo!!!!

My son Lucas went to Simon and Fafa's daycare from the age of 5 months old to 2.5 years old. Our daughter Joanna is 17 months old and has been there since 4 months old. If you want to raise your children in an environment where they will be loved, care for, stimulated and nurtured, this is the best place. Fafa is family to us now, and I cannot imagine my life without her. Kids have a wonderful and varied schedule. They spend 2 hours outside everyday, they play with toys and crafts, eat homemade snacks and meals, and are always so happy on dropoff time. Fafa and Simon get to know your kid and cater to their needs. My son learned to walk, talk, and to potty there, and my daughter is in the same path. They say please and thank you, they are kind, they know how to share. Most kids at the daycare are at least bilingual, which adds to the stimulation. When my son was 2.5 and went to preschool I saw the imense difference in maturity and readiness between him and his classmates who had stayed with nannies or nanny share. Lucas is adventurous, polite and curious, and super independent. A year into preschool I still think some of the other kids haven't caught up. Look no further - this is the best day care in SF. Our daughter went to Simo and Fafa’s daycare from September 2023 to June 2024 (from 7 to 16 months). They became a family for us. They took care of our baby everyday with joy and passion. They are very flexible, open to the requests of parents. They sent us pictures and videos everyday, offered snack and lunch, and organized birthday party for my little one. My daughter loved them and she really enjoyed Mission Bay Home daycare. This place is highly recommend if you are looking for a little, intimate space for your baby. They had only 4-5 babies in total for 2 educators and my daughter got sick only two times in a year. Regarding the language, they spoke to my daughter English and this was a plus for us since we speak a different language at home. My daughter now is able to understand both languages. Very recommended! +++

Fatna (and Simo) have become family to us over the last 2.5 years and we feel so lucky to have our boys in their care. Having raised our oldest in SF, we knew to secure infant daycare long before our due date. When that and the nanny we wanted to hire both fell through, we were so lucky to get a wonderful referral for Fatna and Simo. My mom instinct told me our son would be safe and loved and little did I know just how lucky he (and now, his younger brother) would be to have a nurturing and patient set of caregivers. Our boys have never cried at drop-off and often take 10+ minutes to leave because they don't want to go home, unless we take "Fafa and Simo" with us. By Sunday mornings, our toddler often asks why "Fafa is still closed again" because he misses being at "school" (ha, weekends are a novel concept to him still). The kids get daily outdoor play time, age appropriate art and learning, homemade meals, and all the hugs and confidence that we could wish for. Even with our toddler's severe egg allergy, Fafa and Simo have prepped his meals and snacks to make sure he is safe. As our older one prepares for his 3s preschool start this fall, we couldn't be happier to still have our littlest in Fafa's care and for years to come :)

Our son has been going to the Mission Bay Home Daycare for almost a year now and we couldn't have been happier! Not only have Fatna and Simo been the most loving caregivers for our child, they have gone out of their way to make our lives comfortable, as well. They have been flexible and attentive to our needs as parents and we truly appreciate that. One of the things that makes them special is how they engage the child with different age appropriate activities and do not resort to the screen to do the same. Our child has really grown here and has had a great time. Thank you!

Fatna and Simo are the most trustworthy and loving people that you will meet. Our son has been with Fatna for a year and loves it there. He's less than 2 1/2 years old and knows how to count to 11, after that he gets muddled, and his ABC's. They have taught him a love of learning. The kids have so much fun together reading, painting, singing and dancing. Pre-covid the kids went to the park everyday, came home happy and tired. Since covid Fatna has been highly conscious and trustworthy ensuring that communication is clear and restrictions are followed by the 6 families in her care. Fatna provides lovely meals and snacks every day and gets him to eat things I never could. She sends photos of the children playing and eating everyday. We couldn't be happier. If you want your child to have fun and learn in a loving environment this is the place for you.

This daycare is your dream daycare. If they have a spot you should stop searching because you probably won't find anything better. Fafa, her husband Simon and here two helpers are incredible. This daycare has been the light at the end of the tunnel for us. We went to two different daycares (Bright Horizons in Redwood Shores, Fun with Kooky's daycare) before and we were not completely satisfied. Fafa and her family is family to us now. They treat our son like theirs, they feed them nutritious, healthy, organic food. They take them to the park or library and have a big room dedicated to kids. They also change them as needed so they never get diaper rashes, and they get daily naps in cribs (he has never napped before 2/3h at daycare) and most importantly he gets love and attention from them. The other 5 kids have the same age range so my son is developing his social and motor skills like never before. They also send us pictures daily of what they eat or do so I feel really well informed and spend time after the day is over to tell us how the day was. I wake up every morning feeling the luckiest mom to have found such a nurturing environment like we did.

Fatna is a Godsend. Our 14 month-old daughter has been attended her daycare for 3 months now and we are extremely happy with the care she is receiving there. Fatna is a reliable, loving person. Her apartment is spotless. There are lots of toys and play spaces for the kids to play and interact. She goes as far as taking the walker to the playground for my daughter who doesn’t walk yet. She changes the diapers regularly and changes the kids’ outfits if they get dirty. She feeds them and takes them to the playground everyday (if not raining). Every child has his/her own crib and high chair. She is diligent about nap time. Her space is quiet and our daughter takes long naps everyday. She sends pictures throughout the day, which I love. She is very flexible with hours and will accommodate you if need be. My daughter adores her and starts smiling as soon as we knock on her door. Fatna is more than a caregiver. She is like family. I feel lucky we found her.

We are very lucky to have found Fatna. Our 18mo loves her so so much, thanks to her he is a good eater, rarely sick, and sleep great. Her home is spotless, full of toys and stimulating activities she introduces to her daycare. She sends us several photos/videos throughout the day, and keeps us informed of all the changes happening with the kids. She flexible with hours, a great cook and the only real concern for her is the happines of the kids. Cannot stress enough how much that has improved the quality of our life. Both me and my husband were so stressed about our son's care before, Fatna was a real blassing for us. She is family to us, and we are so grateful to have found someone we can trust with our son.
