The Leading Legacy Academy is seeking a dedicated, structured, and passionate Lead Pre-K Teacher to guide and prepare our preschool students for kindergarten and beyond.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a Pre-K classroom, creating a structured and engaging learning environment
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with early learning standards
• Prepare children for kindergarten through academics, routines, and social development
• Supervise and support assistant teachers and classroom staff
• Maintain classroom organization, documentation, and daily schedules
• Communicate consistently and professionally with families
• Ensure full compliance with all state licensing and health and safety regulations

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Early Childhood credentials (EDU 119 or higher preferred)
• Ability to pass background check and meet NC childcare requirements

Preferred but not required:
• Previous experience as a lead teacher
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Experience with lesson planning and curriculum implementation
