Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Lead and supervise a classroom of children
- Conduct assessments to track children's progress and development
- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques to support children with special needs
- Incorporate math and physical education activities into daily lesson plans
- Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and licensing standards
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

Qualifications:
- Department Of Children and Family DCF Hours

- Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and techniques
- Strong understanding of child development theories and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children

Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
