Toddler Teacher – Kradle 2 Kindergarten
Oakland, New Jersey

Kradle 2 Kindergarten is a family-owned and operated preschool. Guiding young children is a responsibility we take personally, and we look for teachers who want to grow with us while making a real difference in children’s lives. As a Teacher, you will be part of a close-knit team that knows each child and family by name. We are not a large chain. We are a neighborhood school where children are cared for like family, and where we help them become their best selves as they get ready for kindergarten and beyond.

What you will do
- Prepare/Implement weekly lesson plans for the upcoming instructional period.
- Connect learning goals to age-appropriate standards and make thoughtful choices about what children need next.
- Plan and lead activities that support children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development.
- Use a mix of materials: hands-on activities, discovery-based learning, teacher-made resources, classroom displays, and simple audio-visual tools.
- Meet with parents throughout the year to talk about their child’s progress.
- Attend Open House, Back to School Night, in-service days, weekly staff meetings, and weekly curriculum meetings.

What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education preferred)
- Preschool or early childhood classroom experience preferred
- Clear, professional, and kind communication with parents
- Experience implementing lesson plans
- Ability to multitask and stay flexible in a busy classroom
- Comfort working in a close family-owned setting, where teamwork and relationships matter
- Willingness to complete New Jersey childcare training and keep certifications current (such as CPR/First Aid) as required by the center
