Responsibilities:

• Passion working with children aged 5 years (Kindergarten) or 3-5 years (Pre-K).
• Ability to interact with children, parents, and co-workers in a warm, empathetic, competent, and respectful manner.
• Assist Lead Teacher and provide classroom support.
• Assist in the after-school program creating and implementing activities.
• Supervise and participate in playground activities.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members.
• Prepare classroom materials and plans while providing quality learning experiences for young children.
• Is willing to follow a curriculum in line with the Montessori Philosophy.
• Comfortable managing a classroom and leading children independently if needed.

• 12+ Core ECE units required.
• Experience working with Kindergarten/Pre-K aged children is desired.
• Montessori training desired but not required.
• CPR Certification (Preferred).
• Fingerprint, TB clearance, and all Title 22 compliance requirements
• Must be reliable and committed.

• Rate of Pay Range $22 - $26/hour.
