I have so much trust in Renee! My son started at her daycare when he was 10 months old and he is now a year and half. We went from bottles and two naps a day to weaning off the bottle and transitioning to one nap. Renee has been such a great partner through the various transitions. My son has developed so much during his time there and looks forward to going to see Renee and his friends each day. He even asks about them on the weekends. He naps and eats well while there and I don’t have to pack any food. My son has several food allergies and Renee provides special items to meet his needs while still making him feel like he’s getting to eat similarly to the other kids. We had to wait for a spot to open up but it was well worth the wait. I feel so lucky to have Renee in our lives!

My son has been at A Place Like Home for about 6 months and we both love it! Renee takes great care of him and he's learned and grown so much in that time. I get an update about how things have gone at the end of each day, and always get a quick response if I check in or have a question in the middle of the day or after hours. The kids get to play inside and outside with a rotating set of toys, get healthy meals and snacks during the day (and even deal with our chosen dietary restrictions), and Renee keeps everything remarkably clean even with all those little hands messing with everything. The best sign is that my son is happy to be there in the morning and is ready to be handed over to play!

We were referred to A Place like Home by some of our closest friends who had two girls they entrusted Renee with for ~6 yrs. We first interviewed Renee when I was about 8 months pregnant with our twins and their first day was right before they turned 5 months. We interviewed several in-home and big daycare facilities and ultimately landed on the price, convenient location and warmth of Renee, plus safety and licensing research. On top of this, Renee is great with the kids. We constantly comment on how we rarely see her frazzled, even with the crazy antics that a group of babies/toddlers bring. She's rarely sick or needing unplanned time off. We know her home well, we feel it's very safe with barely even the occasional bump or bruise. She's open to unique requirements or stringent schedules (we gave her a pretty serious schedule to follow when the boys first started). She's great with communication, I like also that her policies and vacation plans are communicated in her handbook and via text. People told me to expect my kids to cry when I drop them off at daycare, but in fact it's just the opposite and my boys sometimes cry when I go to pick them up. Knowing they love her and have fun means a lot to me. I would (and have) recommend Renee to any family looking for safe and easy childcare.

My daughter was here before preschool for a year and my second daughter has been there since she was 5 months old. My kids have a great time there, they have a strong routine, and it very much feels like a partnership. I appreciate the open communication, professionalism and the high level of experience. She also genuinely cares about the families and the babies which is so important to me. I like how there is plenty of room for the kids to play, she keeps the place clean, and switches out toys/rugs, etc. They play outside and inside, have healthy snacks and meals, and my daughters were/are happy there. I would recommend this daycare to anyone.
