We’re a Spanish immersion, nature-based preschool inspired by Reggio Emilia. With just 6 children and 2 teachers, every child is seen and supported. Director Angelica Guerrero is a leading early childhood expert, known for mentoring educators and empowering families. We honor toddlerhood as a distinct, beautiful stage. My son flourished so much with Maestra Angélica at Las Cabritas. The warm and playful environment is created with such love and attention to detail. I would recommend Las Cabritas to anyone! Gracias!
Cabritas has been the perfect program for our daughter from age 3 to 4. She has thrived there, and the Spanish immersion has worked - despite neither my wife or I speaking Spanish, our daughter is now fluent (she previously was with a Spanish speaking nanny). Angelica is incredibly thoughtful, creative and well studied in the Reggio Emilia school of early childhood development. We love that it's a small program and nature-based. She has taken the time to bring the kids in with parents, does detailed development updates and makes an effort to build a community among the families at the school. Our only wish was that it was 5 days a week instead of 4!
We love Billygoats/Cabritas! Angelica is an incredible, creative, talented, dedicated and attentive teacher who customizes her broad and ever-updating knowledge of early childhood pedagogy to each child in the class. We have so appreciated the outdoor education, Spanish immersion and customized attention that our little one has lovingly received in this nurturing environment. 1000% recommend!
My daughter went to las Cabritas .It was the Spanish program it was great. she really enjoyed. We highly recommend Angelica is great with the kids .
Las Cabritas is so near and dear to our hearts. We enrolled our two oldest children in Las Cabritas from ages 3-4. The program brought out the absolute best in our kids and took much of the stress out of parenting by empowering us with the knowledge of early childhood development. With our first child, especially, we learned about his mental processes and capabilities at his specific stage of development. Our roles as parent made more sense to us and we felt we had more parenting skills to navigate behavioral and emotional issues. We recommend Las Cabritas to anyone looking to start, or support, early bilingual education for their toddlers. We could not have made a better choice for our kids.
Cabritas / Billygoats was a dream come true! Angelica is a world-class educator that grounds her teaching in what each child needs. We loved that children spent the majority of their time learning outside from nature. Thanks to the parental involvement, we developed deep connections with other families that continue today. Our daughter thrived and we are forever thankful to Cabritas/Billygoats for such a wonderful experience!
Both of my children went through Billygoats with Angelica. I cannot sing her praises enough. She guided us through toddlerhood and all of the difficulties with such intuition and care. My children loved her and the program and we found our community and friends with this school. Angelica’s guidance in the beauty of SF parks is just a once in a lifetime opportunity for our young children. It provides a foundation I wish all children could have!
