Our family loved Blueside. Rosa is kind and attentive, and clearly cares about the kids. The kids also love her and are happy to see her in the mornings. Our son enjoyed the daily outings to parks and museums. We’ve also really appreciated the Spanish language immersion; our son has picked up quite a bit just through play and conversation. Another bonus has been the parent community — it’s a welcoming group of local parents and it’s made the whole experience feel more connected.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Blueside Preschool! Rosa is absolutely amazing—warm, caring, and genuinely invested in her program. My daughter absolutely loves Rosa and her five other "amigos." Rosa creates an intimate, nurturing environment where my child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn. The kids even get to go on outings around the neighborhood—everything from the Panhandle playground to the Randall Museum. These experiences really help broaden their world in such a fun and engaging way. Rosa’s consistent routines have been key in helping my daughter thrive. It's evident in the way she behaves and the new things she picks up each day, including learning Spanish! She’s only two, but I’m amazed at how much she’s absorbing in such a short time. If you're looking for a preschool where your child will receive personalized attention, care, and a great foundation for future learning, I cannot recommend Blueside Preschool enough. It’s truly a hidden gem!

There are so many wonderful things I could write about Blueside, but I'll start with the Big One. My daughter was diagnosed with some sensory issues and we were very nervous about bringing her into an unfamiliar environment when all she knew her whole life, until the age of 2.5, was a personal nanny. Well, wow! After her first day of school, our daughter came home and talked nonstop about the other kids and about her new teacher Rosa. we couldn't believe it. We thought she was going to be sad and cry, but all she did was smile. Every day that we have brought her there since, our daughter has giggled from excitement when she arrives and sometimes even cries on the weekend when she's not there. Blueside has also worked with our speech therapist to help understand our daughter's needs, and has supported her and us every step of the way. We have never seen our daughter blossom like we have since she started at Blueside. I could not recommend this school enough. It's a supportive, inclusive, and incredible program. We will for sure be sending our youngest daughter there, too when she's old enough, and any future kids we have thereafter!

Our child loves Blueside! He joined the program in August and has been thriving since. Rosa has been absolutely wonderful supporting his adaptation and development, sending us regular updates and photos of their adventures. Speaking of adventures, they get a lot of safe outdoor time, visiting the nearby playground, park, and museum. They work on adorable art projects, which our child will proudly bring home. We highly recommend this gem of a preschool.

We feel really fortunate that a spot opened up at Blueside for our almost-2-year-old when we were planning a move to SF. Rosa takes great care of the children with a lot of positive energy, healthy food, helpful daily structure, and excellent communication. It was particularly difficult to find a childcare where the kids spend time exploring the outdoors, and we love that they spend every morning walking outside and playing at playgrounds and local museums. Our son is happy, safe, and learning a lot!

Our 2-year-old daughter has attended Blueside Preschool for 3 months and absolutely loves it. When we leave our house in the morning, she often exclaims, “Blueside Preschool! Let’s go!” Rosa is loving, creative, professional, and has a strong knowledge of child development. As parents, we enjoy the daily photo updates (sent through the Procare app) of the kids having fun on the playground or in the park, and we always trust that she is safe in Rosa’s care. Our child has become more confident in her social interactions with other kids, and she clearly enjoys all of the singing, dancing, and storytime at Blueside. She has also learned many Spanish words, which we’re thrilled to hear her use at home. Our family couldn’t be happier with our choice of Blueside Preschool.

Of all the childcare providers we met (and it was MANY), Rosa was by far the most intelligent, warm and nurturing. Rosa's ability to connect and empathize with children enabled our son to transition well within the first couple of weeks. One of the unique advantages of Blueside is the amount of outdoor time Rosa provides. Weather permitting, she takes the children daily to the nearby parks and playgrounds, ensuring they get plenty of exercise and time to explore. While indoors, Rosa regularly organizes arts and crafts and provides healthy morning and afternoon snacks. Rosa sends pictures daily and is a great communicator. Coming from parents who really struggled to find a childcare solution we felt comfortable with, we can't recommend Rosa and Blueside strongly enough. It is an absolute pleasure to have our son in her care.

My three-year old daughter has been attending Blueside for the past year. Blueside Preschool has been the perfect place for our child to cultivate her creativity and gradual independence. Rosa is nurturing and encouraging with the small group of kids and very communicative and approachable for us parents. The kids get ample outdoor time and exploration in multiple nearby parks, healthy snacks, and valuable nap/quiet time. And we love that our child is able to gain academic skills as well as sustain and develop her Spanish through songs, stories, art, and play that are very child-centered. Update: My daughter graduated from Blueside in July, on her way to kindergarten. Enrolling her at Blueside remains one of the best decisions we made for her preschool. She is more than kinder-ready, knowing her letters and numbers in English and Spanish, and having robust interpersonal skills from all the learning-through-play and social emotional supports that Blueside provided. We are tremendously grateful to Rosa for all the curiosity, kindness, and creativity that she cultivated among the students, and recommend Blueside without any reservations.

Few people can nurture babies and children into confident and caring youngsters as well as Rosa, and those who are fortunate enough to enroll in Blueside Preschool are in for a real treat. For more than two years, Rosa cared for our son, helping him develop into a curious, playful, loving boy who speaks both English and Spanish. Rosa’s love for children is evident, and her ability to connect with them, identify their special qualities and help their unique personalities shine seems almost effortless. She has built an amazingly strong relationship with our son, showing him care and compassion each day as she helps him grow and develop. We consider ourselves so lucky to have found Rosa, and anyone who enrolls at Blueside Preschool will quickly understand how lucky they are, too!

Rosa is absolutely incredible and her school will be a terrific success. She is the most warm, loving, supportive, intelligent caregiver I have met. We worked with Rosa for 3 years and she is an absolute gem. My children learned Spanish, developed a strong empathy for others and a genuine curiosity about the world all because of Rosa’s loving involvement in their lives. She lovingly fostered their first friendships with other children which was beautiful to see. She taught them what they were interested in at the time, truly unlocking their potential. As a parent, I constantly think about the lessons she taught my kids and really helped inform my parenting as well. I became a better parent because of her influence and my kids have just thrived. Anyone would be so lucky to attend Blueside! I wish my kids were still preschool aged so they could attend!
