Cooperative Children's Center

Northeast Seattle Center Claimed 5.0 Updated May 2026

Open today 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

The program follows emergent curriculum with learning activities arising out of children's interests, actions, and serendipitous events. Children have the freedom to explore surroundings, make choices, communicate freely, and resolve conflicts in a climate that nurtures self-esteem. Kindergarten readiness is emphasized in the PreK classroom with games and activities that help children develop a sense of independence, learn how to make decisions, and adapt to routines. School promotes parent-teacher-child community where all three work together to ensure continuity between home and school.

We love the co-op! Both children have attended since 15 months. The teachers and admin are like family. A loving and supportive environment for kids and parents to navigate these formative years. The outdoor space is so great and heavily utilized year round.
