Parent Reviews
My son (17 months) started here earlier this month and he loves it. Gerlee is licensed (#384002827) and wonderful!
My daughter has been attending full time (5 days per week) since she was 6 months old, for a solid two years. Often there are times when she does not want to leave Gerlee's at the end of the day. The home is a large size, with plenty of space for the kids to crawl, run and play. The experience is family-oriented, very clean, organized and each one of the littles are made to feel safe and at home. I love how she greets our daughter every day by coming to her level and helping her feel welcome. Under the age of 1, she asks that parents bring food and milk. It's quite affordable given the options out there, especially with meals provided (to kids over age 1): two meals plus nutritious snacks. It's amazing the things she does for these kids; gifts for holidays and birthdays and parties. They do fun arts and crafts activities, even the infants get to go home with fun artwork. They are supportive of the potty training journey. The hours are amazing for working parents. However, they close for two weeks paid vacation annually but they give you plenty of notice and the breaks often fall near holidays. The child may also take one week off (unpaid) annually. She has another adult helping her during the day. We highly recommend checking out this daycare. She is very responsive to questions especially via text message.
My daughter has been going to Gerlee's daycare full-time since she was 9 months old (she’s 2 now), and she absolutely loves it. It’s such a fun, and warm environment and she’s very excited to go there every morning. We love and recommend it for so many reasons - home-made breakfast and lunch everyday, nice backyard for the kids to play in, assistance with potty-training, great timing for working parents. They do fun little arts and crafts projects, and also learn so many new things - manners (a 2 year old who says "excuse me" is just incredibly cute), letters, numbers, flags! Gerlee is incredibly patient, kind, and treats all of us like family.
Our son has been with Gerlee since he was just 5 month's old (he's almost 3 now), and she's truly become a part of our family during this time. She's a loving, warm, wonderful caregiver and teacher (he already knows 50 country flags...I don't even know this many!!). She's also been instrumental in teaching him manners and has been vigilantly potty training him for the last year (since before we even tried), and now at 2 1/2 he's totally trained. Any family who has the opportunity to have Gerlee be a part of their little one's care won't be disappointed. She's the best, and we're so sad to leave her for preschool next month.
