We put our daughter in Happy Trails around 5 months and it was a wonderful decision. Being first time parents, choosing a daycare for a 5 month old is very scary and daunting, but Crystal, Venny and the staff really did an amazing job in caring for our daughter as if she was their own. Our daughter every week was eager and happy to go into daycare, where she actually learned the names of the other kids she interacted with. One day, all of them were excitedly waiting at the door as my daughter walked in. The staff communicated well through text message and photos to keep us up to date on her daily activities. Also, Happy Trails provides after hours and weekend care, which is great if you want to have a date night. 5 stars, I highly recommend Happy Trails!

We were very fortunate to have found Happy Trails when our daughter was 6 months old. This daycare was a perfect fit for us. Crystal, Venny and their staff are very attentive and compassionate with the kids and treat them like their own! She has a great schedule depending on kids age groups and keeps them engaged in multiple activities throughout the day. They do arts and crafts, music, reading, singing, and park visits. They definitely know what kids need to grow and thrive in these important developmental years. My daughter was always coming home with amazing creations and lots of smiles. They are so loving with the children, especially for their birthdays and holidays! Crystal, Venny and their staff really went above and beyond to accommodate our personal needs. They are great at communicating with you about your little one. They would send pictures and videos so I never felt like I was missing out on anything. She and her team are like family to us and we will forever be grateful for the care that Crystal, Venny and their staff provided for our daughter.

I feel fortunate that the larger corporate daycare we initially applied to lost our application, which lead us to Happy Trails. My daughter started at six months with Crystal, Bella, and family and stayed with them until she was almost 26 months. If we hadn't moved away from Mission Bay I would have gladly kept her there for as long as possible. While I know kids come and go at a daycare, we weren't treated that way. Truth be told, moving my daughter from Happy Trails was the most difficult decision we have had to make as new(ish) parents. My daughter loved every minute of her time there, at times she pushed me away, eager to get inside the gate entrance and start interacting with her friends. She is now attending a Mandarin Immersion Preschool and the instructors tell us she is the youngest in the class and speaks the most advanced Mandarin. Mandarin is not spoken in our home, clearly all credit goes to Happy Trails. I found Crystal, Bella and staff to be dedicated, responsible, helpful, caring; honestly they went above and beyond to meet our personal needs. And I'm not even sure we deserved it, I think its just who they are. I wish there were more businesses and people like them in San Francisco. I miss the artwork she took home, and photos of the kids playing, the birthday parties, they even had a little graduation for my daughter. I truly hope the lessons and values the staff at Happy Trails possess are instilled in my daughter stay with her throughout her life. I liked them that much, my daughter did too.

I highly recommend Happy Trails daycare! We sent both our kids to Happy Trails Daycare, with our oldest being there for two full years (she started at five months old). Crystal and her team were like a second home for both kids. I have nothing but great things to say about our experience. The reason we had to leave was because we moved, and the hardest part of the move is leaving Happy Trails. Our daughter absolutely loved it there and really thrived. She has learned and can understand some mandarin. She eats delicious food. She goes to the playground and does countless art activities. Our now 9 month old also attended, and has been going since five months old. He also thrived at daycare, and is well cared for. We love and trust Crystal and her team and cannot thank them enough for the love and care she has provided to our children.

Crystal and her staff are the BEST! I cannot recommend her enough. Crystal cared for my son as if he were her own, since he was 5 months old until he was over 3 years. When searching for the perfect daycare, I was overwhelmed by the large daycare setting. This at-home daycare was perfect for him to learn and grow on more of a family setting, and learn from other kids his age and older. My son developed incredibly in their care - and learned to speak mandarin fluently as soon as he began uttering his first words. They serve home cooked meals every day (starting at age 1+) and Theo ate very well there. They send great photos every day. Theo absolutely loved going there and was always happy to be dropped off. Now the at he’s gone to preschool, he still asks for Crystal and her family, and we plan to continue visiting :)

I am very thankful and grateful to Crystal and Venny and their team at Happy Trails Daycare. My daughter started daycare there when she was 4.5 months old and I was put at ease after seeing how happy she was with them. We receive several photos throughout the day and also a daily “report card” of diaper changes, nap times, and feedings. They have a lot of activities throughout the day for the children and even have arts and crafts for the babies. We’ve received cute mother’s day and father’s day cards with her baby foot stamp on it. Their place is very clean and bright with a lot of natural light coming through their big windows and they have a lot of age appropriate stimulating toys too! They even rinse out her baby bottles before giving them back to us as well as her clothes whenever they get soiled! As first time parents, we appreciate the guidance they provided to us such as suggesting we increase the amount of milk we provide for her as well as switching her bottle nipples to the next level as she was growing. Since being at Happy Trails, our daughter has become more social and playful. We have seen her grow so much since being there. They have truly become her second family. Thank you Crystal and Venny!

I highly recommend Happy Trails daycare! Crystal, Bella and the team are amazing providers, they are so communicative and easy to work with! My child loves them so much, and they love her. She loves getting dropped off and picked up. Bella sends us pictures multiple times a day, and the amount of activities they do with the kids is amazing! We love and trust Crystal and her team, we know that our child is in great hands and can’t thank them enough for the love and support!

My child has been attending Happy Trail Family Daycare for over a year now and I couldn't be happier with the level of care and attention they receive. The staff is incredibly kind and nurturing, and they truly go above and beyond to make sure every child feels loved and supported. One thing that really stands out to me is the range of activities and experiences they provide. From arts and crafts to outdoor play, my child is always engaged and excited to learn new things. I also appreciate the emphasis on healthy eating and exercise, with nutritious meals and plenty of opportunities for physical activity. Overall, I feel completely confident leaving my child in the hands of the amazing team at Happy Trail Family Daycare. They create a safe and welcoming environment that feels like a home away from home, and I'm so grateful for all they do to support my family.

Crystal and her family have been the most important part of our parenting village in SF, and we are so glad we found her. I’ve referred multiple families in my building to her and we are all incredibly happy with our experience. My oldest son stayed with Crystal from 17 months-3 years 3 months (only leaving for preschool), and we started our second child with her at 8 months. We’ve experienced 3 daycares and a preschool at this point due to moving and Crystal’s is our favorite by far. My baby started daycare as a bottle refusing, sleep hating, stranger danger baby but Crystal’s family got him happy, eating and sleeping quickly. Crystal sends dozens of beautiful photos (better than we take!) daily, is incredibly responsive by text, and has worked with us on cloth diapers, potty training, food allergies, picky eating, and doctors appointments. Your kids will come home happy and well-fed with homemade dumplings, noodles, and dim sum feasts for birthdays. Dropoff is fast and easy though they don’t have a white curb or driveway, it’s never been a problem. Her whole family helps take care of the kids and it feels like my kids have a bonus grandma/grandpa and big brothers. My older son has learned a ton of Mandarin especially counting, songs, and food, and Crystal has set us up to aim for Mandarin immersion elementary school. I wish I could keep my kids at Crystals until 5 or maybe college ☺️ and can’t recommend her and her family enough.

Happy Trails Daycare has been absolutely amazing for both of our kiddos. Crystal, her family, and her staff have created a truly happy, educational, nurturing, and safe environment, and I don't know where our family would be without their help over the past few years. We receive updates and pictures throughout the day to see the fun activities that our kids are doing, what they're learning, how they're playing with friends, etc. One thing that I've really valued as a parent is knowing that our kids are being cared for "like family" by everyone at Happy Trails while also being in a structured environment that's helped our kids develop routines, learn budding social skills, and enjoy plenty of creative, physical, and educational activities. I highly recommend Happy Trails to anyone looking for a very high quality, nurturing environment for their little ones. :)

Crystal and her team are amazing! We enrolled my son at 7 months and as any parent would feel nervous, it only lasted for a day. Our son would always smile when we arrived and smile at her when we left. He was also hesitant with his milk intake since it was a new area but crystal and her team would feed him throughout the day which was appreciated. She sent photos throughout the day and we especially loved it! Would recommend to anyone.

Happy Trails daycare is the absolute best and I’m so sad that we had to leave because we moved! My daughter was there for about a year, starting at 6 months. She was always excited when we dropped her off and loved the daycare. Crystal and her mom are incredibly warm and loving, and have been like family to us. Even Crystal’s young sons treated my daughter like a little sister. Communication: Crystal always responds very quickly gives thorough updates. Since my husband and I are first time parents, we learned a lot from her. She sends tons of photos throughout the day. Many of our favorite photos of our daughter are actually taken by Crystal because she looks like she’s having so fun! Food: My daughter started eating breakfast & lunch provided by Happy Trails when she turned 1. The meals are nutritious and yummy with a lot of variety. Activities: The kids always look like they’re having a blast. They sing songs together, play with all kinds of toys, and read lots of different books. Crystal also comes up with fun activities for the older kids. Napping: My daughter didn’t have any issues napping at the daycare and is a great sleeper. I was worried about this when she first started because she was only 6 months old, but luckily it was never an issue. I can’t recommend Crystal and Happy Trails enough!

I want to give more than 5 stars.... Crystal and her family have helped take care of my twin gals from 9 months onwards to 2.5 (till we moved out of SF) - My heart breaks that my twins will not receive this type of love ever - almost never. Crystal has been a key part of our life even thru the pandemic she has taken care of all precautions and provides every meal with so much love... Her family loves my babies as their own.... I will truly miss her and if you ever need to speak to me about my experience - drop me a line.... My gals are so confident, strong, loving, learning so much and they are independent because of her. She set them up for success in the near future... I cannot ever thank her enough for what she has done for my twins. She will always be our family.

Crystal and her family are amazing. My son has been at Happy Trails for about a month now and he absolutely loves it. He is so excited to see them every morning and we get lots of adorable photos throughout the day and he is always smiling. Lots of engaging activities are always happening: story time at the library, playing at the park, and there is a great outdoor area inside the building so the kids can run around with all of the great toys. They really take care of him as if he were a part of their family. We couldn’t have been luckier to find such a wonderful place.
