Both my kids attended Lili's Mandarin Day Care from 3 months old until they started school (3-4 years each), and I highly recommend Lili's to anyone who is looking for a high quality, personalized, daycare. My kids thrived under Lili's loving care and still love to go visit Lili Ayi. Lili loves all the kids like they are her own, and she has become like a member of our family. Lili is meticulously organized in running her daycare - all details are carefully planned, from (lots of) developmentally appropriate toys and activities to the nap schedule to the healthy homemade meals. It is the best of both worlds - small enough for individual attention for each child but also lots of opportunities for socialization as well. Lili tracks the kids' developmental milestones and works with you to make sure your kid's development is on track. Even though she has been a childcare provider for many years, she is constantly updating her knowledge, including taking child development classes in order to improve her methods and skills and making sure she provides the best possible care for your child. The kids are never bored at Lili's - there are both structured activities and lots of free play time. She engages the children throughout the day with creative activities, from acting out stories they are reading to singing, drawing, music, arts and crafts, and outdoor play. And you receive lots of pictures of happy kids, documenting their activities for the day. Lili spoiled my kids with three delicious meals/snacks per day and got them to eat a much larger variety of foods than I could at home. She is so patient in encouraging kids to eat - when my son was a baby and wouldn't take a bottle, she spent hours working with us and him trying to figure out a solution. My kids still miss her food. We feel so fortunate to have found Lili and her daycare and the fact that most families stay with her long-term (usually until the kids is ready to transition to preschool) is a testament to what a wonderful place she has created.

We have been with Lili's Mandarin Daycare for the past five years and with two children, and we were blessed to find this daycare when our eldest was 4 months old! Lili is wonderful with babies and children: kind, loving, and firm. We do not come from Mandarin backgrounds, but our children have flourished with the Mandarin immersion, have gained a good vocabulary in English AND Mandarin, and are also being taught to be kind and loving with their peers. Also, the kids love Lili's food (and ours prefer her dishes to ours), and Lili takes great care to provide healthy, fresh, and quality foods for the children. The toys are carefully selected and her home is very clean everyday. She has also been helpful with all the transition stages (switching from breast milk to formula, weaning from bottle, potty training) and is a partner with the parents' methods for doing these transitions in our experience. In all, we highly recommend this daycare for any looking for care for their littles!
