Our daughter started going to Manitas Exploradoras the day after she turned 1. From the moment she met Citlali, she felt comfortable there. Citlali has such a kind and warm presence that it has a calming effect on our wild daughter. When she wouldn’t nap at home unless she was ON us, ever since her first day at daycare, she’s napped in her portable crib like it was no big deal. She eats healthy, delicious food, enjoys playing with all the toys and the sandbox, and visiting McLaren Park when it’s nice out. The daycare hours and the cost work for our difficult work hours and tight budget — a big factor in our initial decision making. We have had zero complaints in the 7 months our daughter has attended this daycare. Our only wish would be if they had a backyard, but I understand they’re working on creating an outdoor space for the kids, so that’s great. Regardless: 5 stars! As first time parents who don’t have any family in town, we feel soooo lucky and grateful to have found a place and an incredibly kind, lovely family that takes such good care of our little one. It’s such a huge relief, especially during a pandemic.
